  1. So I guess theyre sticking with Mienky as the starting 1st baseman?
  2. Havent even noticed that, someone mustve changed my title without telling me EDIT: Changed
  3. Seen this too often this season Sox get Blanton to throw 30 pitches his first inning. The 2nd inning he's left off the hook having just to throw 8 pitches
  4. Nesn reporting Drew was pulled out of the lineup very recently, blah do hope he's ok EDIT: Drew has a stomach virus, he should be back tomorrow. Im very surprised that they dont have Todd Walker's bat in the lineup. He has had some pretty stats facing Curt
  5. Whoops, was half awake when i did that before heading out to work. See what happens when I miss my coffee first in the morning! I really have no recollection of putting down April 20th
  6. I'll edit the lineups once they come available, around 6
  7. Lets just keep up racking the Ws while the Yankees are down. Just flat out dreading one of their hot streaks they can pull off at anytime with every supporting member playing like an all-star. Tonight Schilling looks to continue his good season, now facing the Athletics. With John Smoltz getting an extension that could be for 2 years. Schill inches closer to one of his own with each quality start. The offense has been clicking of late. Heres hoping it continues against Joe Blanton who has handled the Sox well in his 2 career starts. Sidenote: Manny Ramirez is just 2 hits away from his 1000th as a Red Sox. Game Info: First Pitch: 7:05 pm ET Location: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts TV: NESN Starting Pitchers: http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_430599.jpghttp://bellsouthpwp.net/c/h/chinigor/TALKSOX/VS.GIFhttp://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_121811.jpg ORS, need to get going for work, could you supply the mojo pic? Thanks if you can
  8. Something the Pats have lacked recently is tall receivers, the average has been 5'10 - to 6'. Now Brady has a deep threat in the sure-handed Moss who stands at 6'-4"
  9. The Sox rushed him up too fast, Tito has admitted it, Theo has admitted it. After his bad debut he was sent down to Double A/Triple A where he struggled. He started off the 2006 year in Pawtucket and found new life as he was one of the best relievers in the farm at the time he was traded. At first the trade for Mirabelli was just Josh Bard. The Yankees were creeping up so the Sox winced and sent Meredith with Bard.
  10. You did see yesterday's game right? 2 run shot toward opposite field?
  11. Damn roto is right. The Braves trade away their starting left fielder and they just got player to be named or cash considerations? rotoworld
  12. Patriots vs Denver this season... what a f***ing game that is looking to be, and this is still april we're in
  13. Tito had to put Okajima out in the 6th because it was just a 1 run lead and the best hitters were coming up. Any regular game, hed be in the 8th sure enough
  14. There's something called a clause in his contract. One mess up by him and he'll be bye bye. He took a large pay cut to be on a winning team, and besides its just for 1 season. Culpepper is overrated, and the Raiders QBs are crap, he'll listen to Brady to help the team to the playoffs
  15. Dont forget City that Brady also has the promising tight end duo of Benjamin Watson & David Thomas
  16. Aging malcontent? He just turned 30 and has been hurt by whoever's been throwing the ball in Oakland. Now he's got the arm of tom Brady behind him, yea he just might be productive for us.
  17. Its just keeps getting better, again I say what a f***ing steal
  18. Cant win much games if you cant handle teams in your division. Yankees are just 3-11 against the AL East While they are 6-3 against the Central and West
  19. Its just been anounced on NESN that his car had collided with a tow truck in the lft lane. He was going home from a Cardinals game in which he pitched 3 innings of relief, you just never know when your times is up. very sad
  20. Its a steal IMO the Pats were able to get Moss from the Raiders. I was thinking before if we did get him, it wouldve been with their other 1st round pick
  21. He's been hit or miss, 2 good starts in 4. Still would like to see more innings. Where was I beating up the guy? It should be obvious to anyone he's just a stop gap pitcher. Roger or Lester if the Sox see steady improvement should take that spot
  22. 16-8, keep this train rolling Oh yea Paps! 8 for 8 now in save opportunities Who know? Tavarez holds the Yankees to 3 runs in 5 innings, his fledgling life as a red sox starter has probably earned him another start or 2 The bullpen remains the best in the game! The offense continues to click. Cora will starting earning himself some more nods at 2nd base due to his great start. I hope that was Manny's start of a great season. And wow I was looking for a miracle and I got it! Once in a Blue Moon Mojo did something right
  23. Time for Paps Before Jeter's HR, the Sox's bullpen had thrown 17 straight scoreless innings on the road
  24. Papelbon time Christ Tito, when will you stop relying on Timlin in the 8th? um Donnelly instead, dee dee dee EDIT: Phew nevermind, sick double play. Me thinks Arod is tiring down from his hot stretch
