  1. Well it would have to wait until Tex comes off of the disabled list
  2. Ah yes he does experience there, kudos for the heads up. He has 93 games experience at 1st base. The most he has had in a season is 30 games in 2001
  3. Francis this season on the road in 6 games, 3-2 with a 2.70 ERA Beckett this season at home in 8 games, 5-1 with a 4.22 ERA
  4. Batting 2nd 197 games- 190 for 710 (.268 avg) (.372 obp) (.444 slg) (.815 ops) 27 Doubles, 7 Triples, 28 HRs, 73 RBIs, 137 Runs, 108 Walks, 145 Ks, 23 SBs

  6. Take away Lugo's leadoff error and Lowell's error in the 2nd (i still dont know why he even attempted to throw) and Schilling just might have had a solid outing. Mightve helped also to not shake off Varitek. Last night before the killer (3 run HR) Varitek asked for the splitty, nah Schilling wanted the change-up which he left right over the plate. But whose to say the Sox wouldve still scored more than 2 runs? The offense seriously needs to have a pow-wow with the hitting coach. Theyve scored just 2 run in 6 out of the last 8 games. In the meantime facing the likes of Lenny DiNardo and Josh Fogg! The pitching cant always be their safety net, course didnt help setting the tone at the top of the order was Crisp and his .281 obp Hopefully Beckett can continue his great success and if not too much to ask, Sox score at least 3 runs?
  7. Sorry I think its easier said then done that the Sox can be able to trade Julio Lugo (who is having a horrible year) with his 4 year/$36 million contract hagning around his neck. The Sox would have to eat a very sizable portion to do so if there are any teams actually interested Jacko... oh god yes Ellsbury had such an atrocious start in Triple A. Get off your high horse. Ive been tracking him since day 1, there was maybe like just over a week where he fell in a mini slump but nowhere near was he hitting like Mirabelli
  8. I hate Drew's strikeout swing, its like a ballerina pose
  9. Ok cmon guys this is Josh f***ing Fogg on the mound, not Scott Kazmir
  10. Schilling going to allow another baserunner when he has him on 2 strikes?
  11. wtf Torrealba points to the sky after getting a double?
  12. 4 years/$36 million, there is an option for a 5th year as well
  13. Im seriously holding back throw up as I see Coco as tonight's leadoff hitter. I know its just for tonight... but good god man, havent you learned from putting Lugo in the lead off spot? Youkilis should bat 1st with Cora and his good numbers in the 2 hole Fogg this season on the road in 6 games, 1-2 with a 3.93 ERA Schilling this season at home in 7 games, 2-0 with a 3.57 ERA
  14. Just something I noticed right away, all I know is that he didnt look happy one bit. The camera started showing him right after he was pulled in favor of Cora
  15. 2.5 hours... damn Yesss Sox win, 41-22 Wake is starting to bounce back with 2 solid outings, happy to see him get the W out of this Papelbon looked like the Paps from last year, 1-2-3 with heat sitting in the 95-97 range. Tonight he notched his 50th career save (sole possesion of 10th all time as a Red Sox) Awesome game to watch, good pitching on both sides Tomorrow is Curt Schilling vs Josh Fogg EDIT: I hope Pedroia keeps his cool over something as little what happened in the 8th inning. When the sox got the last out he was walking onto the field like he was about to start a fight with someone. Even before it showed him in the dugout in the 9th talking to Cora, hand gestures aplenty
  16. Ortiz just missed a HR! Pedroia seems pissed for being pulled to be pinch run for
  17. Cook is still in the game at 112 pitches to face the top 3?
  18. as usual, wake gets f***ed over by the offense. hopefully the 1-3 could get the lead for a last chance to get him the W
  19. I agree with "Schil" and Jacko, Pedroia is better suited as the #2 guy. But huzzah for Tito getting the point and kicking Lugo down all the way to 9th! Cook this season on the road in 7 games, 2-1 with a 2.93 ERA Wakefield this season at home in 5 games, 2-3 with a 5.19 ERA
