  1. He got $ 9 million... Im really missing Gonzo. The Reds got him for just 3 years/$15 million
  2. boston.com I couldnt help but copy and pase this. Its hard for me to believe that Sox fans would be booing Youkilis with the season he's having... on that note doesnt crisp know by now the Yooouk chants? Also in this article, its saying so far Drew will lead off tonight. This offense will be matched up against some good pitchers within the next week or so Giants Tavarez vs Zito Matsuzaka vs Cain Wakefield vs Morris Braves Schilling vs James Beckett vs Hudson Tavarez vs Carlyle Padres Matsuzaka vs Young Wakefield vs Peavy Schilling vs Maddux
  3. I know Ive said this before Send Joel Pineiro (eat some of his contract naturally) and Brandon Moss to the San Diego Padres for Scott Linebrink The Padres are in need of a right fielder with some pop and are said to be willing to deal off Linebrink. Moss is being blocked by the outfield logjam and deserves to get a chance somewhere on a team as a starting outfielder. His stats should be attractive as he's batting .306 with 12 HRs. Sox boost their bullpen by having teams to face a back end of Linebrink, Okajima, Papelbon
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ckzdm2oSYsQ Hilarious look at Roger, 50 years into the future Im not sure how to post the youtube videos
  5. Ortiz Runners on: .362 RISP: .350 RISP/2 outs: .357 f***er should be hitting .400 plus, its just a lost season for him. Why should pitchers even be scared to face him?
  6. Its all downhill from here Lets see RBIs means runners on base... gasp Lugo and Coco have seen considerable time at the top of the order. This is a hard one
  7. "all of you idiots", "you know-nothing retards", "The Genisues on this site" Not the best way to make friends on here, I know that much
  8. Agree 100 %. Crisp still has his job today because of his great defense. Wily Mo even with the occasional brain fart in the field is more of a given to make some solid contact with his bat EDIT: Be that as it may. All 10 hits were singles, Don. A 2004 type trade might be needed to slap this team into reality
  9. Hurdle will trot out his 6th pitcher of the game, this time it will be closer Brian Fuentes to protect a 6 run lead
  10. Well thanks, that stat has already been posted on this board, and some updates are too obvious to even re-post
  11. Hurdle shouldnt make any pinch hits for the 9th and have his batters be agressive, then open the bottom half with another new pitcher
  12. Hurdle is playing like this is a one-run game. Quick bullpen changes, and now having Tulowitzki bunting to move the runners over to 2nd & 3rd
  13. 11 men stranded. Drew in his ABs has stranded 7 (one of those was not his fault as it took a great diving play)
  14. Julio is a Sox killer, always has been. It shows with his career 2.72 ERA facing them
  15. I wont say anything then when something goes bad, im not a good fan to vent out agressions when my team is behind 5-0 and theyve been scoring jack squat in the past month
  16. Beckett at 75 pitches through 3 innings, hopefully he can manage his way through 5
  17. the f*** do i care, yeaaa im calling the end of the season right here . Im just speaking my agression out on the game and where this offense has been for the month of june
  18. I wonder when Beckett will get his first out of the inning
  19. And f***ing 5 to f***ing nothing
  20. Bases loaded no outs (Helton was down 0-2 but took 4 straight balls) as an ace he cant allow baserunners like this, especially when his offense is hitting like Kansas City
  21. Thanks Beckett, lets make this a larger lead for the currently inept sox offense to look up at
  22. But Jacko says we dont have any prospects worth trading away for big players? Im not implying a trade for Bucholz at all, just commenting on his rtecent post
  23. Only positive is that Francis is up to 50 pitches in 2 innings... but still 5 stranded runners is very big
