    Now this is the series Im talking about, still time left in todays game I know. Sox came in having lost 2 of 3 to the Rockies, looking up at Zito, Cain, Morris... Sox won out a pitcher's duel with Cain, and beat down Zito and this year's ace Morris. By the way Im loving Drew as the leadoff hitter thus far

    The deal wasnt being talked about it now. According to Rosenthal, it was talked about this past December. Sox couldve then swung around and signed Carlos Lee or trade off the more expendable pitching prospects (Bowden, Bard) for a power bat corner outfielder. With the season Cain is having now, I couldnt see the Giants being so dense that they would give him up for 1 year of Manny Ramirez in 2008. He does have 2 option years, but they are at $20 million apiece.

    I disagree. Look at the Sox's options for 7th inng duties and when Okajima or Paps need a rest: Timlin, Snyder, Pineiro, Lopez (tho just used against lefties) Delcarmen has the best arm compared to to that bunch. Id be surprised if he isnt called on in the later innings

    Coco gets the day off, Wily Mo in center Morris this season on the road in 8 games, 4-3 with a 3.97 ERA Wakefield this season at home in 6 games, 3-3 with a 5.58 ERA

    Did anyone read the stat showed up on the screen during the first batter? Papelbon has a 1.58 ERA during his first 3 mlb seasons, it was shown so quickly I didnt get to read the rest Yess Sox win, 43-24. 8.5 game lead holds steady Matsuzaka stood tall on the national stage and pitched one hell of a gem. Getting through jams, he was able to hurl 7 scoreless innings while striking out 8... outpitching the 22 year old hard thrower Matt Cain Hopefully we start to see one of Manny's tears where he hits 8 HRs over the next 2 weeks

    I dropped my drink when i heard rosenthal say they passed on Manny for Cain, because of the offense Schilling Beckett Matsuzaka Cain Wakefield Damn, also add onto the fact with Lester, Bucholz, Bowden coming up through the system

    The radar gun, per usual on FOX, is messed up. Ive seen 90, 93, 94, and even on Feliz's double it flashed 102!
