Home from work. Last night I went to the game and didnt get back until 230 am, had to wake up at 630 this morning lol. So nup update at that time
I must say even after the tough loss, Im feeling confident as ever. The three Sox starters stepped up for this series, silencing the tough Yankee bats. For any series of 3 starters to hold that lineup to 6 runs is pretty good Id say. If the Sox and Yankees do meet up again, this time the Sox would have Manny back. Might Ortiz have gotten a better pitch with just the image of Manny Ramirez in the on deck circle?
Couple of highlights outside of the game
-- I loved how they set up for the game to start. Clemens and Schilling warming up in the bullpens at the same time. As they are about to leave, the song "Final Countdown" starts playing. The bullpen doors open, both walk out and cross each other's paths. No word is spoke or even a glance
-- Another fan decided to venture out on the outfield. After Hinske's double he ran to the infield, grabbed Cano's hat, and put it on as he ran toward the Monster. 2 security guards slammed him down to the ground, standing ovation enused for the idiot
