  1. My thought was San Antonio in five. Would love to be wrong, though.
  2. Good bye, 'Sheed. For the remainder of this series, anyways. He's reason enough to hate the Pistons.
  3. Daniel Gibson is a stud. Cleveland up by ten in the fourth quarter.
  4. It's weird, I like a lot of the individual pieces on the Pistons, but can't bring myself to root for the team. I like Chauncey because he's from Denver, I like Rip because he went to UConn, I like Tayshaun because I like how he plays and handles himself, and I like Lindsey Hunter because I used to dominate with him in NBA Inside Drive -- but I hate the team. Hate 'em. By the way, am I the only one noticing how terrible Pavlovic is? How does he get playing time on a team that's one game away from the Finals?
  5. Nice thinking by Lowell. Would've loved to see Cano bounce that ball to the dugout. Damn! At least we got two that inning.
  6. :what:
  7. Cavaliers won. What an incredible performance from Lebron. Haven't seen too many better than that. Last 25 points for Cleveland, if I heard correctly.
  8. Eh, it's a product of a terrible coach. He misused timeouts and his gameplan there was to run out time and get the ball in Lebron's hands. Besides, Lebron's hitting every other damn shot he takes. Have you ever seen anybody make as many dumb mistakes down the stretch in an important playoff as Pavlovic?
  9. The "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" train of thought is nice, and sure, what we've done up to this point has gotten us to 36-16... but why be content with that? What's wrong with trying to improve our team? If there's a better order for our lineup that improves our offense, then I'm all for it.
  10. Home Run! 5-3!
  11. Got the double play to end the inning. Just about to say how I love Trot but wouldn't mind seeing him ground into a double play right there.
  12. People... why? Kobe has a no trade clause. Why would he okay a trade that'd put him in a worse position to win than his current situation? I understands he wants out of Los Angeles but... to Boston? Why? That wouldn't even be a lateral movement. It'd be a step down.
  13. I think it's, like, 10 games under .500 if I remember seeing it on Sportscenter correctly. I don't have the exact numbers.
  14. ... seriously? I'd donate money to help make ORS' fight to the death match a reality.
  15. Besides, what the hell player thinks about how they're going to be treated when they struggle when they sign a new contract? I'd assume being a fan of any team has a lot more to do with the organizations tradition, the money they throw around, and whether or not they will be in contention than it does a teams fan base -- for better or worse.
  16. Walks Chone Figgins. 3-2 Angels... wow.
  17. The playoffs, up to this point, have been an absolute disaster for the NBA. Golden State beating Dallas aside, can anybody think of any great moments that have happened? And even with the Golden State/Dallas series -- that series was an absolute blowout, it's only noteworthy because of who beat who. San Antonio is running away in the Western Conference Finals, Cleveland's putting up a fight, but is there any doubt that Detroit wins the series? Nobody outside of San Antonio or Detroit will watch a rematch of the 2005 Finals. They've been terrible -- and that's without even mentioning all the controversy about suspensions, terrible officiating, etc. In fact, all the negatives that have happened for the league have been the only reason anybody's even been talking about the playoffs. This League sucks.
  18. What a frustrating franchise. They won tonight, or last night, I guess it would be, but it was their first series win in quite a while and they've been struggling. On the bright side, the local sports radio station, 950 The Fan, has basically dedicated the last four days to talking about the Rockies and challenging their owners, or at least one of them, to come on one of the shows and explain why they run the team as terribly as they do. Never seen so much attention dedicated to the Rockies, for better or worse. I sure do wish the Monfort's would see the team. I love thinking about what the Rockies would look like if Stan Kroenke owned 'em!
