  1. Not do-able. Never been done before. You must be hot going into the playoffs. It's a fact that's never been disproven -- not even last year. Yup.
  2. Why would they play the Yankees if the Yankees win the East? Wouldn't we technically be the "lowest seed", and play the team with the top record?
  3. This team needs a fire lit under their ass badly. We really deserve to lose the division. I'm not sure it'd be the worst thing ever. So we win the wildcard and the Guardians finish with the best record, we'd play Cleveland, right?
  4. The way he's played... he deserves every ounce of criticism he gets, regardless of his skin color.
  5. By the way, The new Tuesday Morning Quaterback article on ESPN makes a lot of claims about Belichick cheating -- anyone know where I can find any other information about this stuff? I guess I answered my own question... Fox Sports, I guess.
  6. That's true. The catch itself though was still amazing. I can't find a good picture of his catch against the Seahawks, though. edit: Falcons signed Leftwich. Who didn't see that one coming since the second Leftwich was cut?
  7. I know. It's hard to give 16 points no matter what teams are playing. That's why I went Buffalo.
  8. I'm the Keggers... let me look things over and I'll probably make one.
  9. Ahhh... duh, sorry I'm an idiot. I'm still not used to the BCS Championship game thing. They have a shot. Louisville's done for. It's so difficult to come out of the SEC undefeated, but Florida may be better than last year, and even then, I still like LSU over them at home, which says a lot about LSU. West Virginia has a legit shot, I haven't seen Rutgers play this year so I can't speak intelligently on whether or not they can beat WVU, but Louisville can, it remains to be seen if they will, though... that defense of theirs is terrible. Problem is, I don't see Oklahoma losing and one of those Pac-10 teams should finish undefeated. At least Cal or USC since I'm still not a believer in Oregon. It's so hard to say with college football. Let's say Florida loses in triple OT against LSU... I doubt they'd fall back behind Boston College. You know what's scary about Florida? Their roster, I think I read, is about 70% underclassmen and they're as good as they are right now.

  11. In the Talksox premo league? I'll take Drew Brees off your hands...
  12. Yes they do. Usually the orange bowl.
  13. How in the world did he not go down when five Texans had him and were trying to bring him down? That guy is out-of-this-world good.
  14. *71,000 Yeah, definitely illegal and definitely cheating. Unlike the defense, the offense doesn't go on the movement of the ball and usually aren't even looking at the ball. You get guys mimicking cadences and it gets confusing. Not only do you make these guys commit false starts, but it also creates a split second hesitation when the ball does actually gets snapped and creates a huge advantage. You can't do anything to try and bait the offense into a false start. I really, really hate Mangini.
  15. Brett Favre looks good this year. I inherited a keeper league team on another forum that the original guy who controlled them neglected for the past year and a half, Brett Favre was my only player on the roster that was even somewhat worthy of being retained -- I had the damndest time trying to pick seven more. Anyways, somehow that team is 2-0 and I think it's all because of Brett Favre and the Vikings defense. How about the Texans, though? They sure look good so far. About damn time they turn a corner -- we'll see how long this lasts, though. That division ain't easy.
  16. I know he doesn't fit what you were saying they need but I was really hoping Brandon Lloyd would break out for you guys. I thought he was a superstar waiting to break out when he was with the 49ers, who are my second favorite team, but it just hasn't happened and it doesn't look like it's going to. He sure can make spectacular grabs, though... http://www.sfgate.com/blogs/images/sfgate/fortyniners/2005/11/07/sp_giants49erscajc101.jpe That catch still makes my jaw drop.
  17. Campbell, you mean? I was actually thinking the same thing while I was watching the game. It's a good secondary -- even back in college I loved watching Sean Taylor play. If they can manage to get more pressure on the QB without completely selling out then the defense will be very good. And I like what they're doing on offense considering the talent they've got, Betts, Portis, Campbell, and a big play threat in Santana. Pound the football and it'll eventually open something up down field for Santana Moss.
  18. So I won the spread?
  19. You won't see me disagree with that one. I was just saying it's amazing how far the guy can kick the ball. Though his numbers this year are a bit unfair... three of those FG's came off of the infield dirt. Despite the leg strength, he's sucked from long distances his whole career.
  20. Wow... everyone sucked against the spread. Can't believe I have a legit shot to win.
  21. I could go either way but I think you have to consider that he signed it for a kid. If he signed it for an adult it's one thing... for a kid... I don't know. I know it was all in good fun but chastising a kid for cheering for a team when he asks for an autograph... I dunno. I laughed, I'll say that much.
  22. Yeah, it definetely hit the top. They said (numerous times, so I'm sure you caught it) that he his a 65 yarder before the game that woulda been good from 70. You have to take the altitude into account but still... hell of a leg.
  23. Especially with a halfway decent Defensive Coordinator. edit: by the way, Shanahan's timing on the timeout was brilliant. The whistle blew about a millisecond before the Raiders snapped the ball.
