    I'm having a real tough time getting into the NFL this year. Two great teams (Colts, Patriots) and then everyone else is just mediocre. Maybe it's just the MLB playoffs taking the better part of my attention that's the reason. We'll see here in a week or two...

    I was joking with a friend at work that I should put $100 on Michigan to win the Big Ten... I sure as hell wish I had, now. That may be the worst top five in the history of rankings. I think BC should be around 10, USF in the 10-17 range, and Ohio State at about six or so... but given the mayhem that's happened this year, they have to be #1, 2, and 3. Easily the worst 1-3 ever. Ohio State hasn't played anyone and they're the #1? Wow. Has to be that way, I guess.

    It's just a nickname his teammates gave him and I doubt they're all that serious about it. I read an article about it once and the best part was where it said when he's pitching against a guy like Peavy or one of these good guys they've mentioned, Tulo likes to remind him that the other guy's better and that Fogg can't beat them. What more can be said about this Rockies team? Absolutely incredible what they've managed to do.

    It's actually a really deep league, 16 teams, so there's no defenses remaining. But that's certainly no excuse, especially for the unproven Cowboys defense... and now he's getting pissed at the other guy because he specifically asked not to be screwed before the deal was made and he's trying to get it reversed... If he gets it reversed, he wants to give me Addai and the 49ers defense for the Chiefs defense and a draft pick... I'm all giddy at the thought of getting Addai for the Chiefs defense!

    More baseball to be played... Rockies blew a 9th inning lead, now we're in the 11th and based on how the Rockies offense has looked tonight and how the D-Backs offense has looked all series, it'll be a while before this one's decided.

    I have to share this trade from a keeper league I'm in on another message board... This guy has the 49ers defense and they're on a bye, so he's desperate for a defense this week, so the idiot gets suckered into this trade... Joseph Addai, Ben Watson, the 49ers defense, and the guy's 3rd round pick in next years draft for... *drumroll* The Dallas Cowboys defense. That's it. Has there been a more lopsided trade ever?

    Ubaldo's been big for the Rockies down the stretch. He held the Phillies to one run in the NLDS, and pitched a no hitter into the 6th in the Rockies first final game of the season (aka #162). But I'd be lieing if I said I didn't expect it to be 4-3 Rockies or something like at this point. 2-1 Rockies, by the way. Nice stop by Drew. Could be 3-1...
