  1. I know -- just givin' ya s*** for no apparent reason. I'm in the same boat, it'd completely depend on the rest of my team.
  2. Way to dodge that question...
  3. I would take Billups over Nash. That says more about how highly I think of Billups than anything.
  4. I didn't even realize they played tonight until AAO24 texted me and said he was retiring from being a Nuggets fan. Heh. I wish they would've bothered to show up to either of the games. Apparently, they didn't realize they were playing tonight either.
  5. and since I'm bored, I got this from ssur.org... http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c288/seered81/nuggscolors.gif I can see how the gold can be mistaken for brown. Ugly, ugly color.
  6. Yeah, it was kind of a maroon and a dark gold with dark blue. Like the Cavs colors, but the 'wine' and gold were darker on the Nuggets. The lack of white made them look awful.
  7. I'm not entirely sure, actually. It would make sense, though. Because the Nuggets use two different shades of blue like UCLA does.
  8. Thank you very much for explaining what happened. I was checking the boards frequently through out the day and by the time it was over, I'd had no idea what had just happened. Hope those guys can come back and be contributing members in the future. If not, then so it goes.
  9. It's be an hour or so since I looked, but I think I was at 7-0 and 7-3 I have a chance. A pretty good one for the first quarter.
  10. Any great former NBA players where #93? I know he wore 91 for Rodman and 23 for Jordan
  11. I like 'California Condors' better, but the name itself doesn't scream hockey to me.
  12. Moose, if they change to Condors, would it be Anaheim Condors or something like California Condors? Or did it not say?
  13. And if I remember correctly, the dunk wasn't anything special.
  14. They didn't resign him after that first year they made the playoffs. I didn't like the move at first because of the energy he brought off the bench, but it was probably for the best. Ended up signing with New Orleans, where I believe he was up until this incident occured.
  15. I really do hope they end up revamping the whole identity like the article says they might. New colors, new logos, new uniforms.
  16. I loved the Birdman when he was in Denver. He came off the bench and brought instant energy. But yeah, the guy's a freak.
  17. The Birdman! I loved him in Denver -- he provided such a jump off the bench.
  18. I know. I do agree with your post -- I was clearing myself of being hypocritical in this particular subject.
  19. Cutler is for real. He makes some bad decisions, threw off his backfoot into good coverage a few times in the times I've seen him play, but nothing that he can't work on. I've also seen him complete passes that few people could dream of -- NFL QB's included. I like him more than Leinart for sure.
  20. NCAA Tournament is more likely than the NBA Playoffs. I don't think enough people care about basketball to do the NBA. Usually a small group of us carry the Official NBA thread.
  21. That's true, but I hold no grudge because of anyhting he did to the organization itself, that's baseball. He wasn't the first person to sign with a rival, he won't be the last. But he lied to the same fans that made him into the 'rock star' he's become by saying he'd never be a Yankee, blah blah, it's not about the money and so on and so forth. What ever looks good and sells more #18 jerseys, I guess.
  22. I didn't know that -- Congratulations on the addition to your family! As for this whole BH thing, I still have absolutely no idea what the hell went on here yesterday, and I was checking the boards throughout the day. :dunno: Feels like I've been gone for a week and I haven't missed a day.
  23. Not even somebody who averaged 30 points and 23 rebounds per game in an era in which the league was adding rules to prevent their dominance rather than to promote it? And those numbers were dragged down by the last few years of his career. At his best, like the season he averaged 50 points and 26 rebounds per game, he's the greatest ever. He, like Jordan, was a very good defender, as well.
  24. No doubt. Huge win for BC. I don't care what the state of UNC basketball is (not saying they're bad), it'll never be easy to go into Chapel Hill and escape with a win,
  25. A little off-topic, but what game did you get for 360, Manny? If it's Madden, and you have XBox Live, lemme know! Back to the topic... UNC is a little down this year, but it's still a huge win next year because it's still a talented team. They'll be really, really good next year.
