Summary: tip my hat to Felix. I have loved the kid since he was in the minors. He's unbelievable. Sox were helpless in that 'pitching wins world series' kind of way... no matter how good their offense was there is nothing they could have done to improve. He threw strikes the entire time, changed speeds, and kept the ball down for the most part. His defense made some nice plays (which will probably be over blown, they weren't THAT good).
It was like being put to sleep. I feel like Felix was humane and did it quickly!
These games happen in baseball.
Matsuzaka was good, but not great. I would give him a B+. He probably would have been good enough to win in a lot of other games this season. I think the situation may have kept him from being completely focused, but that's understandable.
