    I'm allowed to like a player better, am I not? As much as I like Felix I have grown attached to Dice-K already. I like it that he's entirely healthy. I like it that he's already poised and experienced. And I like it that he's a Red Sox for 6 seasons. I love Felix too, but given that this is a hypothetical discussion about a trade that would never happen, I made my opinion known based on opinion and subjectivity... kind of like the root of the question. EDIT: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's pitcher EDIT: Would "nah, I like Dice-K better" have been acceptable if he had outpitched Felix tonight? I have no doubt in my mind that he can, given Felix's history of control problems and the inevitability of a bad day.

    Yeah, certainly in 6 years. When Hernandez is 27 and Santana is 34. At that point Hernandez wil be just ENTERING his pitching prime (in theory, at least). Jesus, what potential.

    another run on a basehit. Sweet. So, THIS is what a well constructed bullpen looks like. I get it. I admit the yanks pen is still better than the Sox, but I don't buy that it is necessarily so. Farnsworth is ass. C'mon Morneau, lose one in the hefty-hefty-sinch-sack (or double down the line!!)

    Seems like blissfully wishful thinking to me. Again, let the guy pitch more than 2 games and let the temperature get above 40 degrees. Also, he gave up 3 runs over 7 innings. If he pitched 9 innings that is a 3.85 ERA which is pretty damn good. So on a bad night he's a below 4 ERA pitcher.
