    What is concerning is your pessimism. This is likely the best order 1-6 in the past 10 years. These guys are amazing hitters. What the hell do you want? I would expect Dice to give up some runs against this team. He isn't as sharp as he has been, but its a tie game, the yankees are in their pen and we can still get the W. All the matters is the W. DiceK had multiple very good starts where he lost by giving up 2 runs. Tonight maybe he'll get the W and give up 4. Are you concerned about Beckett and Schilling too?

    I hear ya SOTK, and I'm not going to take a bullet for his views. I just understand that Drew does have some proving of himself to do for any number of reasons. As we both know, with sox fans, if you produce, your past doesn't really matter in the present.

    Before what, you put one in his head? Drew had a bad reputation in LA and in ATL and STL and PHI. I don't blame people for not liking him for being a cocky, not-hard-working kid who held out to go to the team he wanted to go to. However, he's no longer young and his signing in boston, to me, is indicative that this is the team he wants to "settle down" and continue his maturation with. This kid has all-world skills. I've had a very open mind about him, as replacing Trot is a GREAT thing. RF has been a void the past few years and the only reason we didn't replace him was because of peoples' love of Trot, in my opinion. Fenway giveth, and fenway taketh away.
