    I'm dealing for Harden, if you aren't asking for Buchholz, Ellsbury or Bowden and probably not Lars Anderson. But I wouldnt overpay for him and I ouldn't get all smitten over his stuff. His stuff is about 60% as good as advertized since he's injured for 1/3 of the season. The deal better be pretty sweet. Plus, it just ain't happening.

    YES is talking about ho Myers's role has changed and he isn't being used dconsistently to get Ortiz out anymore (HOME RUN MANNY). How many guys in all of baseball require a pitcher for them SPECIFICALLY? And how is that type of offensive dominance not worthy of MVP consideration simply because of the position he plays. He plays DH, but he requires the Yankees to use an entire roster spot for him. I don't know... I think it just speaks to how dominant Ortiz is. Offensively he is a step above just about everyone else, even if his numbers are "only" as good as the best.

    I really don't think we can expect this level of performance for the rest of the year, but given that each of his appearances thus far has essentially cemented a win for the Sox, he is PURE value right now. He's not mopping up ANYTHING.

    Today is the 20th scheduled game in 20 days for the Sox. This was supposed to be a very tough stretch for them. They were aided by 2 rain outs, but they're 12-5 in the stretch. That's Very Niice.
