    I just don't like how Wang doesn't miss bats. He can't get an out on his own, which leaves a whole lot up to chance. Granted, he'd be a lot worse if he consistantly gave up flyballs instead of GBs, but I just don't see how he can be categorized as an ace on a team with a 195m roster.

    Meh, give him a break. He's still an intimidating force up there and puts up good ABs. He'll be fine. I LOVE to see Manny enjoying the game. He's one of the few guys who is able to smile after an out or error.

    damon is banged up to the point of needing a day or two off a week, yet Sox fans give s*** to the FO for not resigning him at 12m a year? That move is looking better and better REGARDLESS of Coco's performance. Damon looks highly average right now, or at best often injured.

    Yeah, I was a little shocked at that statement. I thought he would say Jeter, or Mariano, since neither of them are very abrasive. Is HGH/steroids so rampant that everyone likes Giambi and nobody things twice about it? That very well could be the case.

    Or maybe because Wang is a career 2-3 with a 4.91 ERA against the sox (higher now) and hasn't shown any sort of 'ace-ness' against them.

    The Sox aren't doing AVERAGE off Wang, unless a 1.85 WHIP is average.
