In case that was too subtle (and in case that was too sardonic), I highly doubt Zito would be an improvement. Plus, it's unlikely SF will be willing to pick up any of the approximately eighty billion dollars they spent on him, and the Sox sure as hell aren't going to eat any of his remaining salary from SF.

    Our outfielders are like Ocean's Eleven without Clooney, Pitt, or Damon. There's only so many games the Sox can win with Eddie Jemison and Casey Affleck.
