    There weren't any pre-warp cultures in that one, so it never came up. Also, there were so many horrific continuity errors in that movie, Starfleet General Orders were way in the back of my mind. It was still a good movie, but god damn, I spent half of it wincing.

    This game was probably the best of the season. A steady offensive performance, three hits from a guy who has been struggling, a strong pitching performance from a guy who has been struggling, and during a quick trip to the store I got a free 12-pack of Dr Pepper. All I need now is a briefcase full of untraceable cash to be left on my doorstep and a surprise blowjob from Lucy Liu and I can go to sleep happy.

    Even though the Wings have been out of it, I have been paying close attention to the playoffs, thanks to the Kings and their Connecticut goalie. One more game!

    This was the only thing holding me back on being a sure thing. I think with all the 'steroid era' garbage going on and the likely issues with many of this decade's 'sluggers', guys like Ordonez may have a slight chance due to the fact that the voters will want to put as many borderline or acceptable players in the hall who aren't linked in any way to any kind of scandal.

    Granted, there are plenty of guys in the Hall of Fame who have similar or even less impressive stats in certain areas. However, most of those guys are the ones that are brought up in 'should these players REALLY be in the HOF' conversations. (Evers comes to mind). Personally, I think he makes it, but not on the first try.

    Especially in 06 over Alex Gonzalez. It's incredibly bizarre, but the Golden Glove has almost become an award for whoever performs best offensively at a position. If no one outside of your home team fanbase knows you, then f*** you, we're giving the awards to someone else.
