    yea man, where ya been, talks have been going on for over a month I dont know his numbers against Pedro, but I think you might be confusing him with Enrique. But you may be right there too, like I said I dont have the numbers. ...he still is a player.

    you're confusing me. You state how excuses are made when contracts expire, and then you expect the players to give a discount to the team. Why should a player give a discount to a team that makes excuses for their unwillingness to strongly persue re-signing the guy. If you host a radio show, you're contract expires, and your station says things like "his show is boring, he isnt appealing to the target audience, etc. etc. etc." would you give them a discount and re-sign with them, or would you go to the station that was happy about adding you to their program roster?? Correct me if I am misunderstanding your point, and if so I appologize.

    Reading that post gave me a headache Clemens left because Duquette and co. ddint like him, MO left for money I believe, and Damon left for reasons that we all know and have been discussing for about two weeks now.

    I think I have been pretty consistant, I dont throw accusations out there out of the blue. I think once (maybe twice) I said that I wouldnt be surprised if a player took steroids, but didnt say that he did for sure (like you guys do with Giambi and Sheffield) and ended it right there rather than starting a thread debating WHY I think/know he uses steroids.

    why dont the Sox include a prospect for the Orioles? I heard they were willing to do Manny and Clement for tejada, so im sure Manny and a prospect wouldnt be that hard for them to do. And also the fact that he wont be in the AL East is a plus, and even more incentive to get this done. The Mets are not giving up Milledge, we would already be giving up a big package as it is. I would like this deal for the Mets, though I think it might be a little too much to give up.

    You need to stop accusing me of this. I felt the same way about Giambi last season before he started to produce. And fact of the matter is Giambi did prove he was clean by NOT testing positive last year, which is not the case with Palmeiro, which is actually what I was reffering to, proving that he is clean. Where am I speculating about Palmeiro?? There is no need for speculation as he has ALREADY TESTED POSITIVE!!!!!

    Where the f*** do you Red Sox fans come off questioning us of our intelligence regarding the Yankees and their history. I am getting tired of it, with all of the bandwagon Sox fans, we should be questioning you. You took a shot at me on the last page, but I think that I behave pretty well on the sox board. The only thing that might "piss people off" is my username, which is explained in my last post. Retaliation for the taunting I receive from Sox fans for the "choke". So to be a true fan nowadays you need to know EVERY single thing about EVERY single to play in the organization?? Then tell me who was the Sox's 33rd round pick in the 1999 draft??

    So because this is the Talksox board we cant post here? And the reason for the username is because of all the ******** I have taken for the "choke" in 2004. You guys taunt us with the choke, so 26 to 6 is my defense. And my sig in NO WAY should piss you off, there is no anti-Sox stuff in there. My sig recognized Yankees retired numbers, numbers of significant yankees who might eventually have their numbers retired, and recognition of the AL East title. If say the Orioles had on the division and I recognized that in my sig then I can understand you getting mad. No, as a matter of fact I have been a Yankee fan my entire life and remember going to games back in '93, '94, '95, etc... (back in the RC Cola days, as we Yankee fans refer to them as ) Why would you even consider calling me a frontrunner when half of this "Red Sox Nation" thing didnt become Sox fans until 2003?? I should be the one questioning you.

    No. Because the Yankees franchise hanst won only 4 championships, theyve won 26. The Red Sox havent only won 1, theyve won 6. My username reflects the franchises championships, not the championships that were won in the lifetime of 26 to 6.
