    lol cool. I know you used to be able to do that in ASB (ASB 2005 at least, dont remember about the other ones). I had Ichiro as my emergency reliever (since he started out as a pitcher in Japan)..pretty good. You guys are the only guys who have said they like ASB. ANYONE else that I talk to HATED ASB..now I dont feel like such an idiot haha

    I agree I like what Joey G is doing here and I would definately be satisfied with him as the next Yankees manager. I always liked the facial hair policy, I would rather have a nice looking, clean cut, presentable player representing my team (I dont know, maybe how I was raised or something, but thats just how I feel). Even though sometimes players like Munson and Mattingly are exceptions. However, I still like the policy. Who are you saying is getting fired? Torre or Girardi?

    FINALLY, somebody who agrees with me on ASB. I had them all too and was in love with the game even before Jeter became the coverboy (thats another thing I loved, I knew it was gonna be Jeter every year, these other games switch off every year. Thats the reason I bought 2K5 last year, Jeter. And thats the reason ill buy the new one this year). They had the deepest modes, the franchise had Rule 5, Waivers, etc. I REALLY MISS ASB right now.

    I have them both and disagree. Despite EA's HORRIBLE Franchise mode or whatever. That is one thing I wont miss from them. And one thing I miss from Acclaim. I agree. BUt I still love the game, though it gets borig after a while. But yeah, I wish they made it earlier too.

    Yeah, but its not like Damon is gonna cost us that money. The fact that we're building a new stadium makes us exempt from luxury tax. And I agree, we dont need a new Stadium, but the current one, although I LOVE going to it and wouldnt trade it for anything, isnt in the best of shape right now. Lease? There will be no lease here. Forget the City of New York, this stadium is going to belong to the New York Yankees! lol but anyways, i know what youre saying.

    If you have PS2 you can get MLB 06: The Show with Big Papi on the front. Thats what im going to get (im actually going to get both, but ill likely play MLB more)

    Thats what I used to love about All Star Baseball...yes, the game would come out a week or 2 after all the others, but theyre rosters were always amazing. f***ing Acclaim!

    A lot of Yankee fans dont like Kay very much. But then there are others like myself who love him. And he never acted like "The Yankees will win because, well, err, ummm, they are the Yankees". If you seriously paid more attention to what he says on his radio show and on Sports Reporters he tells what he honestly feels, regardless of if it is pro-Yankees or Anti-Yankees.

    Yes, no doubt about Hawk and McCarver. I just think it is ludicrous to call Kay a homer when he prides himself on being the exact opposite. But we can agree to disagree.
