  1. Its not his choice. But the HoF will obviously put him in with a B on his cap.
  2. Yea, but theyre living it. I'm sure a nurse can tell you more about being a nurse than a doctor could. Basically what i'm saying is that I think it makes more sense to assume that a kid could tell you how a kid thinks better than an adult could. Way to go. In your eyes somebody who is 7 and somebody who is 17 are the same?
  3. Only sick scumbags like yourselves could enjoy something like that ..lol, jp with ya guys
  4. Your avatar makes me want to cry
  5. Teenagers yes, but for kids, like the 9-11 year olds, thats not an issue to them. Wouldnt a kid be able to analyze how a kid thinks better than anyone else?
  6. I dont even want to think about '99. That 17 Strikeout game in the Bronx STILL haunts me. Definately not one of my favorite times at the stadium.
  7. I highly doubt it would take that much to get him. However, if he is released, and after he serves his suspension, I would love to bring him to NY.
  8. Oh. Oops then.
  9. Cy Young, Babe Ruth, etc.? lol, im jp with ya, I know what you're saying. Good post Hammer.
  10. Not surprised thats why you like him. Very sad. He will be greatly missed. One of the alltime best. I'm sure there will be a great tribute to him at the Stadium sometime this year.
  11. I dont think he EVER wanted to be loved by media/fans. Thats evident by the way he treats them.
  12. Yea, but he admitted it in confidence to a grand jury, and his testimony got leaked. Now granted, that means he used, but legally nothing has been proven. But I am not denying his use, I know he used.
  13. I am one of those "Innocent until proven guilty" guys. (Guess that kinda helps, since I aspire to be an attorney) But yea, i'm sure that he used, but putting all things aside, its fun to just watch him hit the ball. I dont know what else to say.
  14. f***ing racist Barry Bonds. If a white player said he only wanted to pass Black Willie Mays and had no interest in passing Ruth, there would be a huge racial uproar. And you guys misunderstood what I was talking about when I said I appreciated him. I enjoy watching him hit. Put everything aside and I love watching him hit. I hate him as a teammate and whatnot, and he's not someone i'd make a run for, but I do enjoy watching him hit.
  15. No surprise here. But I really dont think it's a big deal. Weed isnt a performance enhancer.
  16. If a Yankee had lost weight you guys would be shouting the "S" word. I'm just messing with ya guys.
  17. Yea, that was the policy under Yawkey ownership, and the ownership groups following (not too familiar with the ownership history of the Sox). On the Sox website, under the retired numbers section, they still make mention of that policy. What do you guys think though? Should Pedro's number be retired?
  18. Not my proposal, that was something MLB was supposedly throwing around.
  19. Draft. The order goes as standard, team with worst record gets first pick and so on. At least thats what I believe when I read an article a few years back when contraction was being discussed. And then they also said that there was proposal to increase the roster size from 25 to 27 because of all the extra players the teams would get.
  20. Actually, Yankee people, and YES included have not gone easy on Damon's arm. To say that Damonsis better than Coco's os absurd, btu saying that Coco's is better than Damons isnt much better either. idk if he came up with that theory per se, btu he definately promoted and agreed with it. Thats always been a baseball philosophy for the most part.
  21. Anyone up for expansion? Seriously though.
  22. Yeah, probably. Good point.
  23. As you all probably know, the Red SOx have a policy when it comes to retired numbers. 10 Years with the Sox, and must be inducted into the Hall as a Red Sock. That being said, Pedro didnt spend 10 years in Boston, but definately will be inducted with a B on his plaque cap. Do you think the SOx should make an exception? I mean, even though i'm a Yankee fan, I cant picture somebody else wearing number 45 for the Boston Red Sox.
  24. I'm hoping to be able to go to that game.
  25. Wow. Comes as a shock to me. I may be one of the few people alive who doesnt despise Barry Bonds, and who appreciates his bat.
