  1. That helps, thanks, but I meant the whole story.
  2. I'm lost
  3. I've never met any personally. Its a crying shame.
  4. I wouldn't say he wont be able to do anything close in the pros. IMO he's another Reggie Miller. If he lands on a team that needs a shooter or is set up to have one or some, like Phoenix (THAT would be unbeilevable ) he could get up a ton of threes, and make a bunch. And remember also, that when he shoots his threes, alot of them are from like 4-6 feet behind the college line, and that easily equals pro distance.
  5. Welcome.
  6. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  7. Redick OBVIOUSLY. But I'm not bais or anything.
  8. OK, I finally feel safe enough to express my feel on the situation. First, bbdoc should never be allowed back, even if he wanted to after that thread, thats crossing the line, jumping the cliff, you get my point. And I felt the same way about you guys after that thread. But Yeszir OBVIOUSLY saw it different from me (and a certain other two members) and let you guys back. I was a little puzzled at first, not knowing why, because after the infamous "faggots" thread, I thought for sure Yeszir would see the light and move on from you guys, letting you be on your ways and do your own things. But anyway I digress, I wasn't happy because I had a few personal shots thrown at me from a particular BH member, and that threw me over the cliff, (plus he was persistent, and couldn't understand the word "No") and caused the explosion in the thread. He was back, Y'all were back, but I was scared to say much, for fear of being banned. Anyway, by the way you have been posting (at least Rosey and VA Sox Fan) you seem to be alright. And well, I gotta drop my grudges, and send my apologies to the entire group of BH members, because I was a huge part of your bannings,a nd hopefully we can get along better this time around.
  9. I see you point but heres the thing. We ALREADY beat the Spurs in their cowboy-arena WITHOUT Amare. I see that as a HUGE confidence builder. Remember, Amare (individually, in head-to-head matchups) ABSOLUTELY kills Duncan. Duncan can't guard him, and Amare puts up freak numbers. He just can't. Oh and remember the block... And put this into the equation (with a pencil because its a rumor, albeit a very strong one down here in my parts), he's supposedly developed a very consistent three-point shot. He was unguardable when he could shoot decent from 12 feet. Imagine the possibilities of him with a three point shot. Here's the sequence now: "Amare with the ball, out on the wing, already has 5 three pointer made tonight, pump fakes Duncan goes flying in the air, Amare drives it down the lane, and flys in for a wham-bam-slam (One of Al Mccoy's famous phrases), and dunks over Rasho Nesterovic." That could cause alot of problems. The opposing teams center fouling out because they think they can block Stoudemire (LMFAO I'd love to see Rasho try ) and get quick fouls because he posterizes them. Then Duncan would have to fall back because he would have to protect the paint, because of the lack of a big man inside and then Amare would nail threes on him all day. Then he would have to get out on Amare again, Amare would blow by him (not like he had any problems with that before) and either dunk again, or dish to either cutting teammates (Marion or Nash) or throw it out to open shooters such as Raja Bell or James Jones. And this would make his game even more dynamic. Take all this into the fact that we ALREADY beat them, their older than us, and if Duncan is out of the equation, and we have Stoudemire with his new repetoire, we should beat them. Adds another element to our team.
  10. http://www.basketballboards.net is a nice forum, I post in the Suns part of it, but I haven't been on there (except for two very quick times) to post in about 2 weeks. I like the place, its rather large so you don't have a family type atmosphere that you tend to get here but I like it.
  11. Wow. Just wow. It's MJ...WOW. Normally I would go into a huge rant about how pointless and irrational this is but people have already done my job.
  12. This game at the beginning of the season was not a hot one, but now after the trade it will be intriguing. I think it will be a close game. KG will get his OBVIOUSLY, whos going to guard him on Boston? But this game is up for grabs, no clear cut winner IMO and I kinda wish I could see it (I wouldn't watch all of it but a lil would be cool) but w/e. No worries I'll stick to my Suns.
  13. Theo would have to do some major negotiating with them because, 1. Wells (in their eyes, stabbed them in the back after he had a "handshake agreement" over a contract with them, then bolted to San Diego) and 2. after the Schilling deal fell through the floor and Arizona ended with jackshit, they would be reluctant to trade young guys to a team who is known for its farm. I dunno, maybe some early level guys from them but not much, and DEF not guys like Carlos Quentin and Conor Jackson, although Conor Jackson would be a nice future 1B.
  14. Nash is clutch. (exhibit A: West Semis VS. Dallas, game 5.) See Red your right, Nash blows at D. But it's ok, he's my boy and I'll take him. I feel like, with Amare healthy we are a team that can win it. (Don't say the Spurs, we already beat them, IN San Antonio, WITHOUT Stoudemire, and I think we can beat Detroit too. We almost did without Amare.) Psh, I won't go there in regards to rings.
  15. Nash holds the Suns together too. Like See Red and YanksHater said, it depends on the team around them.
  16. I'd take Nash, because if I was starting a team I would want a runninng team (just like the Suns), and well he IS on the Suns.
  17. OH. Ok, you'd be the one on here to know. Thanks. Anyway, personally I like the new colors 10 trillion times better.
  18. Suns @ Cavs tomorrow. Gonna be a good one.
  19. It was a nice change because the red/brown (or whatever the hell it was) was an odd set of colors.
  20. Thats the thing, NBA players MAKE open shots. Especially these guys. Thats why Brain Colangelo brought Raja and James in. Eddie too, but he was more or less brought in as a backup for Steve and because he went to Arizona State. Boris Diaw was a throw in (LMAO one of the best throw ins in NBA history ) and we had ZERO clue of his potential. But I have a quetsion or two for you, how old are you (probably weren't old enough to see Jordan in action during his prime)? Whos your team (I have only one guess...and I'd bet I'm right too)? Shawn Marion doesn't JUST dunk the ball. He shoots jumpers, has an amazing floater and a nice fadeway from around 12-15 feet that is UNBLOCKABLE.
  21. These two have really grown on me. Although ALL of our new guys have grown on me, but Raja and James's jerseys I plan on getting very soon.
  22. This has got to top them all in idiotic statements in regards to sports, here on Talksox. YanksHater is 100% right. Nash makes the Suns tick. Let me back it up with numbers so you don't think I'm bais: The year before the Suns acquired Steve Nash (the second time, the first to those who don't follow the Suns closely) they were AWFUL. I mean REALLY AWFUL. They had Shawn Marion and Amare Stoudemire still but no point guard to run the show and make them tick. In 03-04 (BN---Before Nash) the Suns were an awful 29-53 In 04-05 (AN---After Nash) The Suns were 62-20, best record in the NBA, and tied for the franchise record of 62-20 which the did in 1992-1993 (the year we lost to the Bulls in the finals.) And to further prove my point, recall the discussion last season when Steve got hurt, how Amare Stoudemire and Shawn Marions numbers SIGNIFICANTLY dropped how it was all due to Nash. Well it was (don't have the numbers in front of me but if you STILL are going to try to say to me that great players don't make other players great, I'll find them.)
