    No way about Wells going to Arizona. They feel he stabbed them in the back when he had his "handshake agreement" with them and then went to sign with San Diego. But you never know, Damon went to the Yankees so we shall see, but I would be suprised if he comes here.

    Marion named Western Conference Player of the Week http://aol.nba.com/suns/news/marion_060103.html I'm glad he got this, it shows his stats over the 4 games that the week constituted and he played awesome, and that didn't even include his 39 Points and 14 Rebounds against New York last night. He's the reason we are on top of the Pacific Division right now. Without him we would be mediocre at best.

    If they play him in left, with that short fence and less field to cover than he had to cover in center at RFK and Coors he won't look as slow. I agree as well, nice signing for ths 'Stros.

    Understandable, I was just saying be careful what you say because it COULD happen. Especially if Kiki is as awful as you say. (Can't be that great if he wanted Darko over 'Melo )

    I've seen you say this for awhile but I gotta get my $0.02 in. The reason that Tejada has a higher value than a replacement player (correct me if I'm wrong, all these VORP and WARP stuff get confusing sometimes) is that there are fewer "ELITE" players at the shortstop position than there are at OF or LF. SS: Tejada, Jeter, I'll put Furcal, and I'll give you Rent. LF/OF: Manny, Vlad, Adruw Jones, Vernon Wells, Torri Hunter, Jacque Jones, Barry Bonds, Gary Sheffield, Lance Berkman, Carlos Beltran (I'll still put him in a high categroy, one bad year doesn't tarnish a career IMO), Miguel Cabrera, Bobby Abreu, Jim Edmonds, and quite a few more. You may come back and tell me why I'm wrong but as of now, my list seems to show why those numbers (VORP, WARP) are ********.

    Are they new alternates? If so that makes sense, make 'em of the two best players and see how they sell, then if they work make em in mass production.

    I saw the highlights and Kenyon Martin crammed on Rasho Nesterovic, it wasn't the nastiest but I enjoyed it. Ummm, I think Melo played well again (if I remember right...:dunno: ) and you guys just didn't close it out. 10 pts loss but towards the end of the highlights you were still close. It SEEMED closer than the score indicated.

    Suns win! Yes we are rolling well without Amare. I didn't catch much of the game cause I was sleeping (I've been working alot). But I'm glad we won.

    Yeah your right, but I'm just so HEAVILY bais against Kobe, but still. Point was, theres no chance that LA would ever wind up with both Artest and Rose. Unless Rose played point and Artest went to the three. That would be scary, but I won't believe it until I see it as official.

    I doubt it, Buss isn't that smart of a man. I mean he traded and ran out the two reasons why he won 3 rings...Shaq and Phil (albeit Phils back) but still Shaqs gone.

    Yup, its true. I have had to realize that this year, and its not fun but when Amare gets back (first home game) the cheer he gets will blow the roof off the place.

    "...Because when he gets back we will be that much more dangerous" Something us Suns fans say about Amare. Its the truth. You gotta roll on. And I think Hodge wouldn't be a bad idea at the 2. He was VERY good at NC State, and is athletic and whats the worst that could happen? He could actually do well there, and possibly another Melo type player on the floor at the same time.

    Whats so irritating about them is, the Suns SHOULD have won the game against them early in the year. Blew a late lead and lost by like 7, albeit without Amare Stoudemire but still. They did wallop the Spurs on Christmas by 15, not necessarily what would happen if the Finals were them again but its a good sign for us Spur haters. :thumbsup:
