  1. LMAO Is that pic Photoshopped? Moose why does it say last edited on 10-4-1955 on your post?
  2. Bingo. He's been fine these past years put up MVP numbers every year, and handled his business fine. It's not like he wants more money, he's just in one of his moods. He'll be fine.
  3. Understandable. But like you said, after last year they act like they can just turn it on at any time. Isn't that what they did last year?
  4. Well by the way you say things...it seems like you need a new PG, a shooter, and possibly a new coach. See Red, give em a call...never know.
  5. OH I see what you mean now. Yeah your probably right, we'd probably be the only team to be able to run up there, LOL. I remember seeing the Olajuwon pic, didn't really remember what that was or why he had it on, no one really explained that to me. LOL Well, the style of play, from an outsiders point of view (you may know more than I do being that you live in the Nuggets backyard) would be Karl's fault, unless Kiki is running the team from the FO. A shooter...you mean from deep right? What about Peja...doesn't he want out of Sac-town?
  6. I agree you guys have loads of talent but I wouldn't say your gonna run all the other 29 teams outta the gym. I bet it is frustrating, Jerry Colangelo in Phoenix finally let his son take control (althought Brian wasn't around in the beginning, and Jerry IS the founder) but we are getting it right. I can see that your irritated. But is it Kiki or is it Karl???
  7. Don't worry, I will be silent about it.
  8. That was probably smart to delete the original post that WAS here.
  9. LOL. Your up for completely re-tooling your entire team? :dunno:
  10. I am a Sox fan and I agree with you, Pinstripe_Pride. Dude (a700hitter), this stuff has no barometer on how good or bad of a fan people are. Its just either shows how much stuff you can look up or how much stuff people know. You have a time limit for people to answer but you have all the time in the world...odd. :dunno:
  11. We got them at their place tonight.
  12. Not AT ALL on subject...but I love your fun facts in your sig.

  14. He wasn't touted a whole lot but I heard his name tossed around here and there (kinda like on the doorstep to being a highly touted guy...at least by the local medias standards). If the D'Backs didn't have Clayton, he probably (just my guess...) would have gotten some playing time at Short behind Alex Cintron (who was the incumbent SS when Clayton came).
  15. And Arenas drops 41, Jamison had 22, and Butler had 26. Good game though. Thanks again Rick for all that you have done, I really enjoyed myself.
  16. Gathwright would be interesting. (I know hes not a SS) Blazing speed and it would be kinda cool to see him in a Sox uni.
  17. This made me laugh very hard.
  18. Why? Whats the point in this...
  19. Here's my two cents on the whole Glaus thing: He's not a fantastic average hitter, but he can get VERY hot and go on a streak (up to a month or 6 weeks) where he seems to hit every ball LONG AND VERY HARD. He has a great glove and could easily play first IMO. Now with what the D'Backs would want...Pitching. Plain and simple. But don't count on them agreeing to a Wells deal...remember back before he signed with San Diego that he had a "hand-shake" agreement with Arizona then backstabbed them and went to San Diego. That would not happen. Ksushi, I don't think that proposed deal is too far off (the bag of throw-up deal). The D'Backs need pitching in the worst way. I believe that a deal with them would involve Clement, and pitching prospect and another lower level guy. They don't like to spend money, as evident to their s***** season to yrs ago and them falling from the perch that they were on only 4 years ago. The Toronto deal is horseshit, I don't see that happening. Arizona needs more than Orlando Hudson, and think about it for the Diamondbacks. They already have their 2nd baseman, fan favorite Craig Counsell. He most likely will retire here in Arizona. They couldn't use Orlando. So I don't see Glaus heading north of the border.
  20. I go to the Suns game tomorrow night. Its going to be AWESOME!
  21. Shaq past his prime is AT LEAST 15X better than any center in the NBA, and is STILL the most dominant force in the NBA. You can't say that you would expect the Heat to have the same record that they have now WITH Shaq playing all year. Kobe might have a big game, but his stats will be a wash with D-Wades. And Shaq will be the X-Factor. Question: Who on the Lakers is gonna guard Shaq.....? Answer: NO ONE.
  22. Nice try with these teams... D-Backs had a payroll of roughly 107 million when they won the WS (6th in baseball...NOT a small market when they won) Angels I believe (not sure) had a very high payroll as well when they won. Well we all see what is happening with the Marlins, they are selling off all their players because they had high contracts. We had the SECOND highest payroll in baseball when we won. 'Nuff said. I'm not positive about the White Sox but I thought they had a $100 Million dollar payroll last year. I wouldn't call those teams small market teams (at least when they won). And the Red Sox are definately not a small market team. One PRIME example I can say is that people always said about the D'Backs that they we're "...built to win now." Meaning that they assembled (bought) a group of very talented vets who couldn't uphold a streak of a few consecutive years because of their age. And now a few years down the road they are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL because they are feeling the hit of spending so much money to field a winner, and probably won't be competetive for quite awhile because of the difference in the payrolls. Its sad actually...4 years after winning a World Series and they have had a 59-111 record and missed the playoffs 3 out of the last 4 years (Went back in '02 to be swept by St. Louis).
  23. Horseshit deal. I've always seen Prior as overrated ("He's has the best mechanics in baseball...") OH REALLY??? Then why the hell is he always hurt??? NO WAY this should EVER happen.
  24. His zero assists did not suprise me. That being said... Lakers will be absolutely steamrolled on Christmas.
  25. Don't be greedy like Johnny, one ex-Red Sox star is enough. And plus if that DID happen, there would be riots in Boston. The FO personell would have to drive in armored cars because people would want their necks.
