Oh come on. That's weak. McDonald is pretty bad. Even though Josh Reddick is a lefty, he's hitting well against LHP, and not only for this season. Just freaking play him. Stop the platooning garbage. It's like Tito doesn't even look at the numbers, he just tries to load up on the opposite side no matter how bad a RHH hitter is hitting worse than a LHH or vice-versa. Also, Drew Sutton is a switch hitter who has performed well while up this season and has outfield experience. That's another option. And then there is an entire minor league system too where I am sure there is a RHH outfielder somewhere in it who can come up and produce better. This is not doing the best with what they have. And how does he know more about every aspect of these players than we will? We all have access to the same stats as him and have an understanding of them. That's all it is. I don't care if Tito knows Darnell McDonald's mother's name or knows what size jockstrap McDonald wears or what his favorite freakin dinner is. It's clear the dude is terrible and there is better options.

He should play the outfield. He may have only played it once at the big league level but he's played it a ton in winter league. Screw this injury business. I'm sick of these people getting babied over every damn thing. I swear 20 years from now every player is going to be rolling around the field in one of those elderly people scooters wearing bullet proof vests. Put him in LF, Ortiz at first. Just do it. He'd have to do something pretty drastic to get injured, and if he does so be it.

Exactly. How people can defend him is beyond me. Yeah whatever he's a nice "player's manager" but that's about it. And even that has been detrimental to the team.

I can sort of excuse this lineup since it's against the Padres, but it still pisses me off. If this crap happens against important teams I will lose it. Please win tonight. I will miss the game cause I'll be in New York City.
