    1. You're talking about a few series where Carl Crawford was missing, Darnell McDonald was hitting 5th, and we had Mike Cameron in the lineup. The lineup, even without acquiring Beltran, will be nothing like that come October in NL parks. 2. You cite 1 game in a 3 game series... They could of easily lost that game even with Ortiz. The entire team pretty much got shut down that day. You don't even mention the fact that the Sox scored 15 runs in the other game, and won 4-0 in the other... What's the point of even using that game in your arguement?

    I love how every one of your posts says that it is going to be us and the Phillies in the World Series. I am going to laugh(and be angry, obviously) if neither makes it. Let's focus on the road there first. That is more important.

    His offseason workouts included doing the "Navajo Power Dance" 3 times daily, which consisted of dancing and singing around a fire while holding a bat he carved out of an ancient tree. Each of these dances concluded with him saying a prayer to the navajo god of hitting while burning a picture of Joba Chamberlain and inhaling the smoke. At the end of offseason workouts he spent 2 weeks in the woods, naked, with the bat on a vision quest. At the end of the 2 weeks the vision came to him in the form of the bat taking life and showing him the proper mechanics for power. Or he just worked out. I don't know.
