I'm sorry, but that is a pretty ridiculous analysis for the series. First off, the bullpen was never handed a lead. Second, the bullpen was only handed a tie once, and that was with one out in the fifth inning. What in the world would you have wanted Girardi to have done differently? You want him to go to Phil Hughes in the 5th or 6th inning of Friday's game. That is crazy. How many innings would you have wanted him to pitch? He already pitched the previous two game. The Yankees also have to think about the next two games. Lets face it, Chamberlain and Pettitte were awful, and Sabathia was not much better. Also, this team is pretty bad defensively. The sweep this weekend is, in no way, Girardi's fault.
