  1. Ugh. Span, Mauer, and Morneau are 1-6 today against Aceves, yet the bottom of the order is killing him.
  2. lol, I wish I saw how the Yankees were playing and said to myself, "They look like the team that is going to win it all".
  3. Hard to count on Kevin Millar and Vernon Wells.
  4. Damn, big waste for the Jays.
  5. But surprisingly not that far under .500 against them at home. EDIT: Really just says a lot about how awful they are in NY.
  6. I was wondering what you were talking about at first. Terrible. And terrible there from Jeter.
  7. Liriano getting squeezed. That pitch and the first pitch.
  8. Big chance coming up for Toronto.
  9. Second time he's done that. Just put that ball on the ground.
  10. Isn't it usually him or Harris batting second, depending on which one is playing second that day? At least that's what he did during the first Yankees' series.
  11. Excellent inning from Aceves, considering who he was facing.
  12. Not a game I want to remember lol.
  13. Unlucky there for A-Rod. I really wish Sabathia and Burnett did not follow each other in the rotation. Wang/Aceves, Chamberlain, and Pettitte all pitching in a row is not a three game stretch that I look forward to.
  14. There's a lot of early swings here against a guy who has had a lot of trouble finding the plate.
  15. Not usually. The errors really set up each other there. If Cuddyer is still at first when Redmond hit the grounder to Ransom, he would have been able to throw it to second, instead of all the way across the diamond.
  16. YES announcers just said the pitch limit is between 60-65 for Aceves. Looks like we're going to be seeing Brett Tomko today. It's gonna be a battle of the bullpens, with the Yankees best middle innings guy unavailable.
  17. Wow, Cody Ransom is horrendous defensively. He was doing these same things before he got hurt. The Twins give the Yankees runs, and the Yankees (minus the HR) are trying to give them back. EDIT: I wonder if Cuddyer breaking towards third ended up distracting Ransom.
  18. Could have been a set play.
  19. Stupid baseball there, considering how bad Liriano looked. He kept falling behind, eventually someone was going to get a big hit.
  20. lol, and when they finally get a hit it's that...
  21. Yeah, this year has been weird. His splits in previous years have been much worse, if I remember correctly.
  22. That's this year, right?
  23. Bottom third of this order might be a problem today. EDIT: As expected. Melky from the right side is usually not a good thing.
  24. I would say that is definitely his game plan. Although, you're right, he was missing with his fastball.
