One good thing could come out of this game. Burnett might pitch well to Posada, and then if the Yankees make the World Series, Joe might put his best lineup out there.

This would be his second straight time on three days rest. Last year he got hurt pitching his fourth straight game on three days rest.

You don't think it would be a good idea for the Yankees to do everything they can to take care of this series in six. This reminds me of what they did with Mussina in 2004. Go for it when you have the chance. In my opinion, that was Torre's biggest mistake with the Yankees.

Yeah that pissed me off. If the Yankees get on him early, which may very well happen if Teixeira walks, the Angels may have folded. But that is what it's been this postseason with the umpires. The Yankees, obviously, have received their share of gifts.
