I have to say I didn't see Redick putting up the scoring numbers that he's posting this year. Almost 30 PPG is phenomenal, I didn't think he had anything like that in him. I still don't see a diverse, complete player, but when you can score like that, you're big time. First team All American easy, and deserving. But until he comes up big in the NCAA tournament, he's still got something to prove in college.
As far as the NBA goes, I have to laugh at the lottery projections, even though they do exist. I don't really see anyone out there with his package that has made a name for himself in the NBA. If he was 2-3 inches taller, it might make a huge difference. I think he might hang around the league as a journeyman/shooting specialist who, on the right team, could be a double digit scorer. NBA stardom is not in his future IMO.
I've heard comparisons of him to Rip Hamilton, however Rip Hamilton is 6-7, has a nice reach, is a much better athlete, is quicker, has better leaping ability, is a better rebounder and is a better inside player then Redick. Redick can shoot and that is about it.. I don't see the similarities.
