  1. I'll be at the Carrier Dome for College Gameday tonight when Louisville visits. Important game for both teams. Expecting 30,000+
  2. It was too close to call IMO, it was inconclusive.
  3. Amazing that only 1 person passed her though..
  4. The NHL will review several factors- including the risk of injury- before deciding if it will commit to sending players to the Olympics past the 2010 Games in Vancouver. NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly said Friday that the length of the break needed to accommodate the Olympics will also be considered. The NHL agreed to shut down for these Olympics and Vancouver as part of the labor agreement reached with the players union last summer. "There are a number of factors- how long of a break, and whether that break is beneficial to the season we are trying to have in North America," Daly said. Injuries are also an issue and a concern of our clubs and our players.
  5. I guess something in the Article couldn't be deciphered, or your computer can't read the text.
  6. I think this would cease to be such a problem if they pared the season down to say 70 games, as they should. Think about these guys this year who are in the Olympics: 82 Regular Season Games (compressed) 6 or so Olympic Games (compressed) 28 Potential Playoff Games (very compressed) That's potentially 116 games to be played over a 8 or 9 month period. Waaaay too much IMO. I'm also for shaving the 1st round down to 5 games.
  7. Welcome! btw, I'm from Syracuse.
  8. Yeah, he said that when he played for the YANKEES. He's not going to say in front of the media & fans at yankee stadium, "I want to go in the hall as a red sox."
  9. Foulke reports to ST early, good sign.
  10. US Ties Latvia, 3-3. Not Good. BTW, Hasek got hurt, that's a huge blow to the czech's.
  11. ESPN said Griffey is playing CF LF: Damon CF: Griffey RF: Wells
  12. Seton Hall beat #11 West Virginia tonight at the Meadowlands, 71-64.
  13. They've lost twice now.
  14. You can change your sig 'see red'.
  15. Sonics trade Radmanovic to Clippers 2/14/2006, 6:51 p.m. ET By TIM BOOTH The Associated Press SEATTLE (AP) ??” The Seattle SuperSonics traded Vladimir Radmanovic to the Los Angeles Clippers for Chris Wilcox on Tuesday in a swap of 6-foot-10 forwards. Radmanovic, a free agent after the season, has struggled for the past month despite being put in the starting lineup after new coach Bob Hill took over Jan. 3. Since Jan. 11, Radmanovic has scored in double figures only four times in 13 games, and recently was benched in favor of forward Nick Collison. Radmanovic, who turned down a $42 million, six-year deal with the Sonics before the season and signed a one-year tender instead, is averaging 9.3 points ??” down from 11.8 last season. Because he signed a one-year tender, Radmanovic had the right to block the trade.
  16. Ohhh, set up for a Canada/USA Final.
  17. Same here. Snowboarding, Skiing, and Hockey are the best events in the olympics. Sean White Owns.
  18. The Pirates payroll is just now reaping the benefits of finally climbing out of years of neglect and mismanagement. That's what makes it different- a 30% INCREASE in payroll because of the benefits Jason Schmidt is solid. Kris Benson is a bum. Jason Kendall is an overpaid catcher who only hits for a good average- no power. Esteban Loaiza wasn't all that good until the past year or two. Jose Guillen is an inconsistent player. Trading Aramis Ramirez and Jon Lieber was a HORRIBLE decision. That stuff happens.
  19. Personally, I think Luongo should start instead of Brodeur. But, you can't go wrong with either.
  20. Yea, that team is fricken' stacked up front. If their injured D can hold up, and Hasek doesn't have a ridiculously good tournament, I can't see anyone taking the gold from them. I think its funny they have 11 superstar snipers then.....Kris Draper.
  21. Canada released their lines today, and would I hate to be Italy playing them on Wed. Draper-Sakic-Iginla Gagne-Thornton-Nash Heatley-Lecavalier-St. Louis Smyth-Richards-Bertuzzi Doan as extra Spezza and Staal on the taxi squad
  22. NOVA's lightning quick, good shooting 4 guard lineup vs. Gay, Boone, Armstrong and the other tall, long athletic freaks of UCONN. Which style will impose their will on the other? COuld be a VERY up tempo game. If Nardi is in, him, Foye, and Ray can light it up outside...negating a lot of the shot blocking advantage. But, I'm going with the UConnvicts in this game. They are way to big and talented, I think the score may even be lopsided.
  23. Morrison is not making it past the #2 Pick.
  24. Ok, let's get real. Bobby Cox has seen his day. We talk about 14 straight division titles, wow. That's great, no one has ever done that before, cool. Let's win the big game, but I don't think the Braves can do it with Bobby Cox. He has had great players and as soon as they are traded their game picks up. That tells me Bobby has a problem with talent and most likely in the areas of how to use it.
