    doubt shopp and stern would be enough,prob want lester,papelbon, or sanchez included in that deal also I'm still in Thailand about another 2 weeks til I come home, I have been getting on the internet about everynight. But its so weird, The East Coast (boston & NY) are 11 hours behind thailand, so I'm posting when like everyone is asleep practically, and you guys are posting when I'm asleep. The weather has been so hot (heard its been hot in the states too) and the ladies are DAMN fine soxfan, wearing the shortest skirts you could imagine possible

    granted it was "the reds" it was still pretty impressive -Dodgers pitcher Derek Lowe held the Reds to one hit and one walk while striking out five in eight innings on Monday. The win brought Lowe's record to 7-10 on the season. -Lowe hasn't allowed a run over his last 15 innings and has won consecutive starts for the first time since May. He came into the season with loads of potential, but hasn't made good on it until recently. If you had removed him from your lineup, it may be time to get him back in there.

    Guardado would waive no-trade clause to join Sox According to Tuesday's Boston Herald, the Mariners have told those inquiring about Guardado that his price tag is high: a top prospect, plus a starting pitcher or a power-hitting DH or outfielder. However, should the price come down in the next few days and the Red Sox become interested, Guardado would agree to waive his no-trade clause to come to Boston: "If it's a good deal for both teams, he would waive his no-trade clause for Boston," Guardado's agent, Kevin Kohler, told the Herald.

    OK, who cares anymore? Clement is on our team for 3 more years, whether you like it or not. This thread is about us potentially getting AJ Burnett, its not about who is better- bronson or clement? and I would take clement, you can't deny the fact that Varitek has helped Matt greatly, and I agree his is not the ace, but he is the best we have to this point

    so do they want hansen too?? lol...yeah right Do the Marlins believe the Red Sox had some influence on Hansen/Boras rejecting their offer? If not, I can't see how the Red Sox are to blame at all, regardless of whether their supposed offer (which they're not supposed to have been able to make) was. Gammons also alluded again to the belief that the White Sox can't sign Burnett, but the Red Sox may be able to. Also, says the issue with the Sox offer is that they don't supply a reliever for the Marlins....whereas the White Sox deal does....what about embree? how many days left do we have to trade embree?

    delcarmen will be activated tues. or wed.....Is it not odd that the Red Sox would announce a call-up a day or two in advance, thereby making a few guys in the bullpen wonder if they are lame ducks? could be because a trade has been made...3 going out, 2 coming in or something? I thought Manny D would stay at AAA to fine tune his control issues a little. I think he has a bright future ...I am excited to see his stuff in the ML, and no better game to bring him up than vs Tampa I got a report on the game last night I didn't understand why he got the quick hook. He stikes out the first guy throwing 94, strikes out the second guy throwing 95-96, then gives up a first pitch hit on a 96 mph fastball and gets pulled. It kinda makes sense now, I guess they wanted him fresh for his call up.

    welcome to the site, I currently live in NY (syracuse) and it could be worse (like living in the bronx) but I plan on going to college out of the state (hopefully mich. st) and then moving somewhere after maybe down south, or boston...we'll see! anyways like i said welcome

    I highly doubt schmidt is going anywhere, when rumors are talked about this much the trades usually dont happen...like the AJ trade which very well may not happen.
