    There are alot of times during a season when Tito's moves don't make sense to me. But I thought he managed this game as well as it could have been. You could make an argument for questioning why he didn't send Tek up to pinch hit for Mirabelli in the 8th. Wake was only to going to one more inning, so Tek could have toughed it out and caught him in the bottom of the 8th. The Sox did have chances to score in the 8th and 9th, they just couldn't get one more hit.

    Curt is getting better with each start. He's got to go at least 6, with Papelbon first out of the pen.

    Guys like Small, Byrd and Macarthy give Sox hitters fits. It only proves you don't need to blow people away with heat. This whole game came down to stopping them in the 6th and Bradford couldn't do it.

    Harville has some decent breaking stuff. I would have liked to see him face Jeter in 6th instead of Bradford.

    I give Tito credit for sticking with Trot against the lefty. Bellhorn would have had that ground ball.

    Good pitching always stops good hitting, and poor pitching results in big nnings.

    Big Papi got stood up by some very good bullpen pitching. Shields at least can get the ball over the plate with confidence.

    Post all the stats you want. He Walked the only guy he was supposed to get out. That is the biggest stat of all.

    Chad Bradford Sucks!!! He comes in to get one batter out, Jeter and he walks him!!!!! Then he has the unfavorable matchup against Williams.
