    Tek can't catch Wake especially in late innings (see Zenny's post). Arroyo makes the most sense to go to the pen and letting Tek have every 5th day off keeps him fresh. As for Damon as much as people like to say they can't picture Damon in pinstripes it wouldn't shock me at all. If they offered him a large contract I would see him signing with them, personally I wouldn't blame him either.

    I don't think anyone could have put it any better than Zenny put it. Bottom line the Yanks are cooked.

    There's a Right Fielder who plays for the Mariners who disagrees with that statement, and a Center Fielder who plays for the Marlins who also disagrees with that. Bottom line is Theo doesn't often overpay for people so if Damon asks for to much he won't resign.

    I do not believe anything that Gammons says but if we did resign him we could trade Payton for someone who can pitch instead of Embree.

    I do not remember any point in his career where it was ever even once a rumor that he wants to be traded to the Yanks it's jsut another stupid Yankee fan spout off.     Here's my logic: The Yankees are old, the pitching is sub par, and I do not trust Canoe and Womack and the other players they have going out there evey day.
