  1. Ok fine so Miller will be back but Wells won't be so there is a place for Timmy. He's a good pitcher but he's a knuckleballer so he will go through tough stretches.
  2. He is awful I agree but that's why I tihnk Tito is starting to wise up and put him in games we will probably lose. He's turing into a Halama.
  3. If you didn't liek Embree in 02 or 03 then you're insane the guy made leftys look stupid, and they are not "huge aspects" are they big yes but huge no. Huge aspects are Curt Schiling Manny Ramirez David Ortiz etc. etc.
  4. You've got to be kidding me right you're the one who said don't use him when he's hot. My post was direct refutation of yours.
  5. He has Boras there is no way he will settle for 4/40 that only worked with Tek because he isn't worth as much as Damon and I think Damon wants like 5 years too probably at more than 10 per year I really don't picture him in a Sox uniform next year. I do not want to see Walker back in a Sox uniform his defense was so unbelieveably bad it's not even funny.
  6. Ok just a friednly reminder Wade Miller and Wells both only signed one year deals I would bet my life that Wells won't be back and I'm not certain please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe MIller does not have an option for next year or anything so its no sure thing he's back either. Tim's a knuckleballer and yes he has been struggling lately but he can't really control it in the end he will be fine and there is a place for him next year.
  7. No if you payed attention to detail I added about how he worked hard during the off season to try and get himself back but I'm sure you didn't notice that because I'm willing to bet you are one of those people who is too lazy and jsut reads the first two to three lines of a post and makes assumptions about what the rest of the post says. You're an idiot you really are. You have contributed nothing to this site except bad grammar and stupid unrealistic ideas that you just pour out of your mind since you got here. I've put your posts in to two different "piles" one where yore posts sounds intellagent and make sense but it's jsut piggybacking of someone elses idea you just say the same thing that 5 other people have in the same thread, or "pile 2" where the ideas are original but they are so dumb that of course they are original no one else would think of this crap. Go home and learn grammar and then go home and learn baseball and then come talk to me.
  8. If you don't use him at all then he will never get hot. He's the ultimate test of patience (sp?) and loyalty you need to let him play through the rough times to get the truely great times.
  9. Comparing Mark Bellhorn to Manny Ramirez is comparing apples to oranges. We know eventually Manny is going to hit and hit well because he's proven that every year he does... Mark on the other hand well all he's proven is that he strikes out more than he hits and that's frustrating you're very loyal but take off the rose colored glasses and just look at the stats and watch him play sure he has his moments but all in all he's really not that good.
  10. Oh trust me I will because it's a stupid statement. How can you possibly call a guy who pitched with blood coming out of his ankle in the playoffs to ensure his team could win selfish? He didn't try to come back early to make himself look good. Are you joking me? He came back because he wanted to play baseball, he wanted to do his job. Was that selfish of him? That's the opposite of selfish, working hard to try to rehabilitate himself to be ready for the season so he can pitch for his team. Please explain to me what makes that selfish in any way. What he did was the exact opposite of selfish. The selfish thing to do would have been to sit around all winter saying "Eh it's ok I can miss the first couple months of the season, not like it matters I'm getting payed any ways.". But he didn't do that which I believe most men would have done he wnet otu and worked hard to try and make himself better so he can pitch for his team. You can call Curt Schilling a lot of things personally I think he's an idiot and talks too much, but he should never be called a selfish man.
  11. No that's not it there are other aspects to this team not just one of our two left handed "specialists" and our second basemen they are playing pretty good right now considering they don't have thier ace so stop pouring stupid ideas out of your mind that make no freakin sense. And yes the future is Youkilis.... hey word there being FUTURE as in not right now. Bellhorn is the second baseman deal with it.
  12. I think it would have been this week if we hadn't started playing in the NL this week he was heating up before the road trip.
  13. Detroit is going to win again dammit.
  14. I think he means like Embree and Millar to someone for good prspects and then the good prospect to the Rockies and then Helton to us. A 3 team deal.
  15. I think at this point the Yankees may want to be unloading rather than gathering up if the way they keep playing continues... by the way where has the good ol' YANKEESRULE been?
  16. 4-5 years at 70 Million could change that pretty quick.
  17. I think Tito is starting to get that he's lost it. Notice how he was in a 5-1 almost sure thing loss last night.
  18. How much is Embree getting payed?
  19. Mueller is an above average third baseman he fields the ball very well and he hits for average and has moderate power and he's clutch and you never hear about him and any problems with front office/management/otherplayers/anything. Untill Mueller starts to decline third base belongs to him.
  20. Damon is walking and we are not signing Pierre. We are not going to give Damon the ammount of years he wants and the Yankees will outbid us for Pierre because one of their biggest problems is the outfield. In the end I believe they will move Hanley to CF get a saftey signing at 2b and call up Pedroia around the All Star break. Clementrulez why in the name of heaven and hell would you want to get rid of Mueller?
  21. He should be THEIR 5th starter though! Right now it should be Clement, Arroyo, Miller, Wells, the WakeFIELD in my opinion!! Or Wells 5th and WakeFIELD 4th! ...... Ok anyways as much as I don't want to see it I think the only logical thing is to send Wake to the pen because he's the only one whomakes sense to take out at this point. He should start against the Yankees though because he does own them.
  22. Are you and idiot? Does Youk look like a midde infielder to you? He plays third and can play first that's it.
  23. Selfish? The guy went and pitched on a torn whatever the hell was wrong with his ankle in Game 6 of the ALCS to make sure his team had a chance to win. He played hurt. That's the furthest thing from selfish I can possibly imagine in the world of sports.
  24. He's hitting just fine lately (outside of last night) and you can't really feel sorry for the guy. Anything that happens is all a direct result of him no matter what his agent tells him or what the est suggested deal is in the end the ball was in his hands and he made the descisions.
  25. He has two blown saves please get your facts straight and then come and argue.
