    The Cubs wouldn't have done the deal without him, and out team would have stayed the same as it was for the first half of 2003. Small price to pay for a World Series.

    I don't know about everyone else but this site was the last thing in my mind during game 4 of the World Series. That game and that time was meant to be spent with family.

    There was one 18 inning game against Toronto in 2002 I don't know about another though.

    True but the reason they were'nt traded for a 3 month rent a player at the deadline... Stienbriener was banned from baseball. Since Steinbriener has taken control of the team again they have acted like the farm system means nothing.

    Sosa seemed like he really didn't mean it, he got up and apologized as soon as it happened and really looked like he meant it, Guiellen was full of s*** and should have gotten the crap beat out fo him.

    They showed an interesting stat on Sports Center last night. Two players have done what A-Rod has done by age 30 in recent history, Ken Griffey Jr. and Juan Gonzalez, each since after age 30 have had 7 trips to the DL.
