    Very good point by Ray. For all those saying Renteria sucks, lets compare Edgars numbers to O-Cabs. Edgar: Avg: .278 Hr: 6 RBI: 40 Runs Scored: 65 OBP: .344 Orlando: Avg: .249 Hr: 5 RBI: 32 Runs Scored: 37 OBP .302 Edgar beats Cabby in every statistical category, ut the real important numbers here to look at are average, runs scored, and OBP. Edgar kills Cabby in those categorys, so if you get sick of him just look at what the alternative could have been.

    I thinkthe only real friends in that clubhouse are Jeter, Mo, Bernie, and Posada. Those guys are the only ones who have been there for the whole run the Yankees had in the 90's and I believe are the only ones who have bonded at all.

    Renteria makes plays on balls that most short stops in the league don't even get to. As I said before he had a rough start both offensively and defensively. He's been solid since.

    Your an idiot. Renteria over the year grew into my favorite player on the team. The guy is a great player and a great guy. He has a brilliant glove, and after slumping for a bit in the early part of the season he can hit. How many times have you heard "Renteria has been a problem in the clubhouse"? Never. The guy is the anti Nomar. What really impressed me about Renteria is how he said "I'll move over to third base for Hanley Ramirez" Athletes in this day and age dont ever give up thier position under any circumstance, Derek Jeter didn't even switch for a A-Rod, argueably one of the greatest shortstops to play the game, and Renteria said he will move over for some prospect who started in AA this year. He is really the most impressive person on the team to me.
