    Maybe they should actually start looking into prospects backgrounds before they draft them, or they could just hatch a spy in the Oakland A's draft room.

    That all hangs on Millar. You want to imrove the base running? Fine a guy $5,000-$10,000 every time he runs on his own and gets thrown out, and fire Dale Sveum, that will fix any probblems we do have with baserunning.

    With that Payroll anyone could have signed the big names he did. He crewed up far more deals than he did right, he was terrible. HE RAN CLEMENS OUT OF TOWN. His head should be rolling just for that. I could have done a better job than he did.

    I watch most Yankee games and I don't think he's on steroid because no one can possibly be that dumb, but I do believe he's on something. Every time they pan to him in the dug out after he does something big, his eyes are bulging out of his head a lot further than usual and he's shaking uncontrollably. I don't know what he's on but he, in my opinion, is on something.

    I go for a strong starting pitcher on the trade market, but not for the top 3 prospects, give up a little bit but hold on to the future.

    According to Sports Center under the radar trade of the deadline is Bob Wickman to the Boston Red Sox. Now that Schilling is ready to go back to the rotation and because Foulke is still on the DL the Red Sox plan to aquire Bob Wickman. If there is any truth to this it is HUGE. Wickman is a great closer who would GREATLY help our pen. The only problem is who do we have to give up for him?
