  1. i didnt see the game but i hear it was good. ill do a check on the yanks and post the score....
  2. we all kno...weve mentioned that several times in other threads. his 7-9 record doesnt do him justice. hes the sickest young pitcher ive seen in a long long time. f***in bullpen blows it a lot for him too.
  3. ho-bag because ******* is too light.
  4. i have to agree with empire on this one. matsui has a decent bat and has had nothing more ever noticed about him, and they know hes a poor defensive OF. i dont think hes overrated at all.
  5. snyder played a game in boston already...it was when he got his first ML hit and then sveum, that ho-bag, sent mueller home and was thrown out by 10 steps.
  6. ooooo ok.
  7. he was saying pretty much that aany yankee pitcher can be the same as arroyo... el duque is a great pitcher no doubt, but hes only thrown 7 games...a fraction of as many bronson has thrown. *would put stat here but too lazy to find how many games arroyo has started*
  8. empire...did u understand what we were saying was teh stupidity? not the name... the enrique wilson and cash considerations for ben sheets was the stupidity. and i dont kno y he called u a troll...
  9. he wouldve been better off in boston. he wouldnt have gotten smacked in the mouth by tek
  10. i think u mean 6-9...u said 9-6. but anyway...the only thing that makes me worry is that arroyo hasnt been as good at home. but the tigers suck so we should be able to win this game. with the exception of pudge and carlos guillen, no one worries me too much about this game. lets go sox.
  11. i also give the nod to bronson...i havent read zennys post yet so i might repeat some things but probably not considering i dont go too in depth... ok, hes just been our little spark plug when we need him. hes won the games hes needed to, and has a great attitude towards this game. hes young, and has TREMENDOUSLY helped us win games on the road, considering we struggle. hes young, and will help us a lot in the future.
  12. hes been playin well but hasnt been playin too often.
  13. ill look at the east when we have command in the wild card. its too close for comfort now. and ill look at the wild card after we win games. i never think of what the standings would look like if we win and another loses. just win the game and everything will fall into place.
  14. great game...and if i ever see terry adams pitch again i will smack up dave wallace and tito.
  15. sheets has been sucking it up lately...but can u buy me a ticket yankshater so i can enjoy that with u?
  16. i think they got kicked out too they went 1-2 in pool play.
  17. no they wouldnt. what do u call it last year? THEY DIDNT HAVE SHEFF OR AROD YET THEY STILL WON THE ALCS.
  18. yankees have solid starters and a solid rotation that many teams would love to have. vazquez has been pretty dominant all year. el duque is unbelievably good. and brown, mussina and whoever else are solid. the rangers would like a rotation like that for one. or the expos , although they already had vazquez...
  19. the way varitek has been hitting recently makes me think he and pedro should be resigned. apparently varitek isnt fallin to the billy bean theory thingy.
  20. right...while we are talking about next year already, we now realize that 2 weeks is too far away to even look at. after this stretch we need to focus on not the yankees and the standings, but just winning a game. like i said, everything will fall into place after our game, whether it be against the blue jays, the devil rays, the angels, the rangers, or the yankees. just win the game and then see what goes on after.
  21. ill take a win anyway it comes
  22. you spelt rivera wrong...yet again you're a yankee fan... r-i-v-e-r-a rivera
  23. what ive been saying the whole time. he hasnt been one of the "1918 so suck it m*******s" type. hes a knowledgable yankee fan which u dont come by too much
  24. we got embarrassed last year with that cowboy up. i went to the clemens/pedro game last year in the ALCS at fenway where the fights broke out. some yankee fan was holdin up a sign that said "cowboy up my ___". we can fill in the blank but it was funny. a red sox fan went over and swiped it out of his hand and the yankee fan got tossed outta the game. makes me wonder how biased security guards are...thankfully towards red sox fans!!!
