  1. really? what about the '97 and '98 broncos???
  2. u stretch out the fact that tom brady is the best in the nfl. hes UNDERRATED, but not the best. i can give u two QBs better than him. peyton manning, yes its true, peyton ALWAYS plays bad in new england, hes dominant everywhere else. he has a deep WR core, in marvin harrison, reggie wayne, brandon stokley, and his TEs in pollard and clark is one of the best in the NFL. daunte culpepper. culpepper just has a gun and is mobile, and has a connection in randy moss, and thats all he needs. moss is the best WR in the nfl, and he can break double teams, and make miraculous catches. brady just has a solid, flowing at all ends offense, and makes him a miraculous QB. if there was just a passing game contest, id definitely take culpepper/moss or manning/harvison (whoever else) over whoever you want brady and his WR too. yes he is very accurate, and so is manning/culpepper. mcnabb is not better, but more mobile. mcnair, same as mcnabb. brady is right up there though, and should have been in the pro bowl instead of trent f***in green...that pick pissed me off. brady IS the second best in the AFC however. now dont get me started on brett favre... and someone said something about tedy bruschi and y i thnk hes underrated? because its the truth, and it may be the only time i agree with madden. when you hear talks about great LBs, u never hear his name. for christ sakes, he has 4 INT returned for TDs over his career. not even ray lewis has that.
  3. and i make the point that your full of s***.
  4. yea, at least we didnt trade a decent pitcher (who is now doing pretty well except for the last start) for a sucky no-reward pitcher.
  5. typical colts/pats game. nothing to be worried about. scores are always close and lingers of the past in indianapolis came back tonight, willie with the big play and the heroic goal line stand. wilfork wasnt KEY, however, it was eugene wilson who just smacked into him and ripped the ball out. a rookie mistake, wilfork should have stayed in the endzone when the fumble was recovered, touchback would have given us much more room to work with other than being crammed against the goalline. learned from yesterdays game: our run stop pack has got to step it up. edgerrin james was running all over us, and always up the middle over keith traylor. i miss ted washington. another thought, tedy bruschi is possibly the most underrated mid-LB in the NFL.
  6. actually, the yanks lost by 22, and were shutout. the tigers lost by 21, and managed to score some runs.
  7. sorry, couldnt tell sarcasm on the comp. and yes you do, it seems like every time you get bashed for a retarded post, you say you were kidding.
  8. ahh i still have nomar on mine....grrrr how do i change it? or is my comp messed..
  9. lol, but u agree that redskins are most overrated team in the nfl?
  10. so whens this banner going up?
  11. lol empire u read yeszirs mind.
  12. i hate that, i would agree with yagmaster, but since when we really put bias aside and try to make a fair argument about our team being best, its all said to be biased. truthfully, i think stros and sox are tied at the top. its a cointoss if they went into a series right now. though in recent years we have killed the rocket...
  13. oooo lol.
  14. redskins=most overrated team in the nfl. ok they have clinton portis, and yes he will ahve the year hes wanted, but will they get all they can out of him? no. the skins dont have a great o-line, and will get dominated by teams like the pats who have great d-lines, along with the ravens and dolphins. joe gibbs is one person and is a great coach, but he had much MORE talent than what hes dealing with now. people start assuming they have +500 record solely because of him. he can turn a team around, but when you have a team with the talent of the skins, its hard to say they can thrive. and empire, i AM holding you to that promise. and i wont forget, im writing it on a sticky on my comp..
  15. at least hes not on the cover of madden :harhar:, but even that curse will be broken, if there is one. ray lewis is too good. now back to the thread topic, im not worried at all. me and elsrbueno have agreed in MANY other threads about this topic and we still stand by it. its all about putting a superior team on the field. we just didnt do as well. aaron boone hit the HR, like he was supposed to. oh well, we learn and move on.
  16. amen, someone finally acknowledges this...
  17. because red sox fans can always win in a fair argument
  18. i do considering they were beat by a WC team, but clarified, the free fall is starting...theyve been "very slowly tumbling"
  19. actually nvm, scratch that. empire your right. my b
  20. like i knew someone would bring it up...i think right now we could beat them, but it would be close. bias aside.
  21. lol me too. i love how the yankee fans cant intimidate us either because we are the best team in baseball right now, and recently. (not record-wise, for those of you who would bring it up.)
  22. one year doesnt kill a team. the yankees are still free falling, and its been a long painful one. and hopefully it will continue for many years to come.
  23. yes i know, but its preseason, and our starters played no longer than a quarter other than the game we won. we dont want any injuries. and carolina had their starters in ALL GAME.
