  1. Well well well...we lost to Tampa Bay. The same Tampa Bay team that the Yankees put up 19 against and what did we say? "Whatever." We looked f***ing horrible tonight. So the next time you laugh at the Yankees for losing to the Rays, remember this night...it was bitter and ugly. I don't like the Yankees either, but I hate hypocricy. Just pointing it out. So if you laugh at the Yankees and say "whatever they beat the Rays" and we lose and you're just like "whatever," remember tonight and how s***** we played.
  2. All Embree does is pitch fastballs right down the middle of the plate...he has to stop that. I mean I'm not too mad about tonight's loss...I knew it was over when Bellhorn got picked off of 2nd base in the 3rd. You learn from this loss, and move on. Our offense...where the f*** has it gone? Embree can probably be good he just needs more pitches and not pitch it down the middle every f***ing time. People are going to hit HRs. Tito...why not Timlin? Why not Foulke? Why not anyone but Embree? Goddamn... Oh well, you can't win all games vs a team...even if they are the D-Rays.
  3. f***. That cheater Sanchez in to score the 3rd run of the night for TB on a single from that criminal Lugo...3-1 Rays...goddamn it. WHERE'S OUR GODDAMN OFFENSE. MANNY AND PAPI COME ON DUDES.
  4. Shouldn't be a problem, It is gunna be dry so the knuckler will have movement. And also remember back a few years...Wake had a no-no goin until like the 8th or somethin. Oh yeah, forgot to say, it's kinda weird that I'm worrying more about the Orioles losing than the Yankees And also: nothing against anyone, but if you don't know how to start threads with pictures you probably shouldn't, it's better to see the picture of someone than just the stats...it gives the post a boost in its dullness...so, here's the official start: http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/123801.jpg Tim Wakefield (2-0, 1.37) VS. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/431148.jpg Scott Kazmir (0-1, 4.80) The O's travel to Toronto tonight for a 3-game series...they're both close behind us....can't exactly root for either team. Let's hope Toronto takes 2/3 I guess. Yanks suck, go Rangers.
  5. Loving that none of our prospects are on that list. Just makes me think more highly of them
  6. I always missed him...I still want him back. I knew he was still gunna be dominant. Me and John (ahhchon) knew it. We knew it man...
  7. 'Tis very true...all I'm saying is that the Yankees aren't as bad as everyone is saying. Yes, they've been performing that way, but they're gunna explode soon enough.
  8. They haven't done that too much lately...
  9. The O's are gunna be right up there in the standings in September...watch out.
  10. Lol, Noah, you'll get used to it soon enough.
  11. NICE!! Way to show Sosa he's the better Cub . Anyway, Get Clement outta there. He's a beast, yes, but I've had a few heart pounding innings now and I think it's time for Foulke to put this one in the bag. Haha, just noticed that the Orioles have two guys named BJ on their team...
  12. No, present Pedro in the NL. The bottom 3 batters in the NL are just like the pitchers batting... I will say though, I love Pedro and always have, always will...I'm glad to see he's thriving as a Met, no matter how bad the actual team is/was/going to be.
  13. WHOA dudes and dudettes...I gotta tell ya, I am VERY impressed with perhaps the most questioned part of our team...the PITCHING. Wells able to give us 8 UNBELIEVABLE SHUTOUT innings, Clement thus far giving us 7 UNBELIEVABLE SHUTOUT innings...just amazing. These are the pitchers we brought in hoping they would make huge impacts and statements, and that's precisely what they are doing. The ability of them over the span of last night and this night to get us late into the game while still being able to use them effectively is beyond me. Let's remember here folks, these are the ORIOLES, who ALWAYS give us a hard time... Also keeping the ball away from our shaky bullpen right now. I hope this is how it can go and what happens....get deep into the game with the starter, and hand the ball to Foulke for the close, or maybe CG if still ready to go. We are on FIRE right now...I don't see the D-Rays stopping us... Yes, I know, this game is FAR from over. Another observation I made...Clement not getting any run support whatsoever and still pitching like he was born for it. Great job is all I can say...wow...
  14. Whew, nice to get out of that jam. I'm happy with Clement so far...one tough inning but usually they all bounce back and have beast innings. (AKA Wells in Toronto the inning(s) after he gave up those back-to-back-to-back HRs). And yankeessuck013...WHERE ARE THE DAMN PICTURES LOL. Give it a try...edit your post.
  15. You rip on the Yankees like it's your job. Yes, so far they are incredibly bad, but I doubt you will be saying that when September rolls around. They are too good to continue this way. They will turn it around. It's only been what? 14 or 15 games? Still ~145 left to go...woohoo.
  16. Sizzlin, I doubt he would want his last WS ring to be with Boston. I mean sure, he had a great time here, but he is still bitter about the way he was treated here. The last memory of a WS he wants as he retires is with Boston. He would love one from NY, because he was a tank there, or Houston. That would be nice considering he would win one last one with his hometown.
  17. Pfft..whatever, I've seen him in person many-a-time. Including in a restaurant around here once a few years ago. At Charley's in the Chestnut Hill Mall.
  18. Better be one nasty ass start to a game thread!
  19. And that only means one thing...Papi has a huge night tomorrow night!!
  20. O yeah, and Yankeessuck, just go to redsox.com to get the picture. Right click on the pictures and click on properties, at the bottom. There will be a URL near the middle of the pop-up, and you copy it. Then, when posting, just put the URL in between and ...for example: pastetheurlinbetweenthesetags
  21. Not much, as we win 8-0!! GREAT GAME WELLS. Keep it up, and you get tons of love back in Boston. f***, now Rodrigo Lopez tomorrow...3-1 against Sox last year...6-1 against Sox in career.
  22. f***, there goes my SS on my fantasy team...
  23. The Celts have the talent to go all the way, and definitely win the East, but I think they fall short in the East finals..
  24. Varitek and Manny, unsurprisingly, come through with big hits. And, surprisingly, Wells is pitching amazingly. I am VERY impressed. He couldn't be pitching this well at a better time.
  25. Assuming we get there. I hope he's clutch the next game he starts as well as any other.
