    Well, on the bright side of the boos, at least we're not like the Yankee fans last year booing Jeter off the field for his miserable start...that was pathetic, as he has helped them in so many ways that I can't count that high. Renteria is different. He comes here for a shitload of money, and doesn't do anything...I would like to say he is the Derek Jeter of this season with his slow start, and then I hope he just smashes everything in sight.

    Haha, who knows? Over the past few years we have shown that we have success against the Yanks and can, well, blow against less talented teams. Not to make excuses, because it doesn't work because the Yanks went through the same thing, but a time change can throw you off track. I'm just glad the Sox are back on the east coast...

    Yankeesrule is right even though I hate admitting it. We gave them s*** about shutting out the A's twice in a row because they were a "s*****" team, we gave them s*** about winning 10 straight against "s*****" teams, we gave them s*** about scoring 19 against TB...and now we are saying an MLB team is still an MLB team after we get accused of beating "s*****" teams. Just notice how ironic it is...and then realize how we have performed against the same teams...with the exception of Tampa Bay. I know you don't want to, but don't bust out some weird excuse because what happened, happened.

    Haha that's awesome. What do the other Yanks fans in the office say when you brag about the Sox? Do they say stuff like "2090" or "26-6"?

    I love how Yankee fans tend to "predict" the future. I remember last time in one of my fantasy leagues this Yankee fan knew I was a Boston fan and he was like "time to get some revenge on the Sox for beating our asses earlier in the season...payback's a bitch." Yet we still went on to sweep the Yanks at the stadium through all their gloriousness... If I remember correctly, after game 2 of the ALCS, NY didn't even bother to keep Yankee Stadium running for a while until the WS because apparently the series wasn't going back to NY... It just doesn't work out for you guys when you predict these things...just like you predicted 2018 was our next WS win...Jesus.

    The rain is supposed to come later at about 4. They should be able to make an official game out of this. I hope we win...I can't stand looking at Baltimore in first place anymore, even though I know there's still a lot of baseball left. Haha, and the Yanks I bet can't stand looking up at us...they gotta go through Pedro today...hopefully he'll kick some ass. Go Sox and Mets!!

    I'm goin to tomorrow's game... I'm 4-0 in Sox games so far this year so hopefully it will bring them a win... We tend to hit good pitchers well anyway (a la Smoltz), and Clement's goin tomorrow too so it should be nice. Hey, at least the Yanks lost. And oh yeah, that Davies guy...looked pretty good. P.S. Something I was thinking about with Foulke's recent poor performances (yes, I know he didn't pitch tonight)...he hasn't been great his whole career...could we possibly be seeing some of remnants of his days back in Chicago and San Francisco as a White Sox and Giant?

    Hahah, KOO OWNED RJ. That was amazing....who saw that??? For those of you that don't know...Koo was Benson's replacement and hit a double of RJ and did some insane base running and gave the Mets another run in the 7th I believe. It was amazing...

    Haha yeah I do, then he got absolutely raped by Papi, Nixon and Kapler got a few punches on that face. Not only did Sturtze try to take him down, he was strangling him basically...

    The offense that scored 83 runs over its last 11 games...roughly 8 runs per game...7.54 to be exact.

    I saw Kapler outside the AMC Theatre in Chestnut Hill...me and Manny24 went to see Dodgeball and he was sitting right in front of us. Got his autograph it was sweet. He is actually a REALLY big guy.
