  1. I know, John seriously lol I was thinking the same thing...you know you have a true bangwagonner when the Sox are receiving old Yankee fans.
  2. Welcome aboard! Enjoy your stay.
  3. he only shoved the fan, he didn't punch him...the restraint i saw is if you watch him after he threw the ball in, sheff was ready to throw a roundhouse punch and clock the guy, but u can see him holding it back, then just keep talking.
  4. I know, I was too lazy to type the substitution part...I was speaking generally.
  5. Exactly, he didn't restrain himself...he wanted to clock the guy...but he actually thought that he could get the s*** beaten out of him if he went into the stands. You don't just run into the stands and attack a fan in Boston. You will get knocked the f*** out.
  6. And your town is...?
  7. Say we were only able to take out Ortiz as our DH...and put in Wells instead. That's a f***ing HUGE ass jump.
  8. 4/5 blown saves last appearances isnt an owning?
  9. Somehow in our league last year, Manny24, you ended up with Ichiro, Edmonds, Manny and Vlad with 8 teams. I wondered how the hell that happened...
  10. Last time I checked, the ceremony commemorated the 2004 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox. Derek Lowe and Dave Roberts were 2004 Boston Red Sox. The Dodgers/Padres had nothing to do with the World Series last year, so even if they did care, tough luck. The fact that Lowe and Roberts were 2004 Red Sox is enough information to justify it.
  11. Haha either way, Fenway is better than Yankee Stadium. And I say that without bias...although that memorial of all the Yankee greats is pretty cool...
  12. But I was at game 5....still don't know where...
  13. He needs to find his spots. That's the main thing. I mean he has good stuff and we've seen him put it to effect...like in Toronto, those early innings and the one after that disastrous back to back to back HRs inning, he had it working. If he can hit his spots he should be ok. But right now if I had to take anyone out of the rotation when Schill-Mill come back, it would be him. Clement is awesome, he just doesn't get run support...doesn't matter where he goes.
  14. sara = owned.
  15. Yeah, but that's necessary. I mean if the ball is still on an upward rise that thing is onto the Pike and killing someone. Besides, batters love it so whatever... the weird scoreboard thing in Rogers is unnecessary.
  16. Exactly, mariano just needs to get into his normal self. Mariano Rivera is still Mariano Rivera...and there are no signs that he is anything else. Just because the Sox have figured him out doesn't mean other teams have. You have no reason to believe there is anything wrong with Mo.
  17. I don't know of any "arm ring" being given out.
  18. Congrats to Pedro...I miss him
  19. No, I meant did anyone e-mail the people who's e-mails were posted by Yeszir?
  20. Psh, Yankee Stadium is made out of plastic...
  21. Yeah, I forget where I saw it but there was urinal that had a picture of Derek Jeter at the drain...
  22. Haha, my favorite part: "HEY UMP GET OFF YOUR KNEES!!! YOUR BLOWING THE GAME!!!" or something to that effect...however, I thought it had a nice mix of comedy in it too, it's actually pretty good. But maybe my liking of Jimmy Fallon helped me make that decision.
  23. Oh yeah, I also expect Clement do get us the nod in the series. He did well against the Yanks and against the Jays he should get the job done. He has a few control problems to work out but I am happy with how is outing against the Yankees went.
