  1. Don't underrate the Yankee offense!!! Pedro can get hit and he can get hit hard against the Yanks, or he can be dominant. It depends.
  2. Uhhh...have I seen interleague? Uhhhhhh geez.. OH YEAH! Last year against the Phillies, I forget who pitched for both teams, but I remember I was sitting right next to Pesky's Pole and I was talking a lot of s*** to Abreu. I remember he dropped a few fly balls and I kept yelling "THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR ALL THOSE CHEESESTEAKS." It was good fun. And there were a SHITLOAD of Phillies fans in the bleachers, it was so bad, they were chanting "Red Sox suck!" and I remember a few Red Sox fans got arrested for beating their asses up but it was all good as they were silenced because Thome didn't do s*** in that game, and we rolled them. It was insane.
  3. I didn't understand this move truthfully. We did win the WS with OC... I didn't get why we signed Rent for more money than OC who was asking for less...but w/e, if he comes through for us, I won't be bitching.
  4. I hate the Yanks with all my heart, and I hope to God Pedro and the Mets whoop their asses. BUT, yes, the way the Sox are playing lately and with our pitching lately we aren't going to win games. The Yanks are hot right now, they got the hitting, the pitching (ok, with an exception to last night), and just everything going for them right now. Hopefully this day off will get us out of the funk. It's nice to come home and I'm goin to the game on Sunday so we better win. Does anyone know whos pitchin for the Braves on Sunday? I know it's Hudson on Friday...so what next?
  5. That's the problem with having a good lineup. However, I hate having a good lineup AND NOT SCORING!!!
  6. What they said. If you don't have success on stubhub or eBay I don't know how you could be able to get tickets. If you REALLY wanna go you may have a few sleepless nights with your coffee on the computer.
  7. sarasoxfan on RedSox24? GASP! But yeah, everythings fine. Even though I'm not surprised by seeing the Yanks heat up, I don't like it.
  8. Ok, I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Yankees are the goddamn YANKEES people. The Yankees we saw in APRIL are not the Yankees we will see during and after the summer. The Yankees had too much talent to continue in their funk, and now they're gunna play much better for the rest of the year. You can't expect A-Rod, Jeter, RJ, Sheff, Godzilla, Moose, etc to keep playing s*****. These are TOP players in the MLB. So what if they keep spending money on old age players? The point is they get it done. I'm no Yankee fan, but my God, you all (well not all, most of you) make the Yankees sound so much worse than they are. They are the YANKEES. Yes, we will come out of our funk eventually, and the AL East is going right down to the wire between these teams. Yes, the east is no longer predictable like it once was, but the Yankees compete EVERY year. If they don't win the east, they will get the wild card. It sucks, but they are too good to miss out on the playoffs with that roster. Curse me all you want, but just know that I'm thinking realistically. If you thought the Yankees were staying down there at the bottom of the East all year, you need to stop snorting that cocain.
  9. They are pretty good, aside from having your snacks and pit stops right behind you, the only thing we need to tell you thats new is nothing! You'll have a great time, and who knows? Maybe you'll see some famous faces there. I know a lot of famous people sit in that front row down there behind the netting. Those are pretty good seats, from that view it doesn't look like you should have any trouble with the poles behind you. Just don't be surprised if you hear a lot of people getting really into the game and intensifying, that's common there. If you get a chance just walk around outside the park and just get to know your surroundings. It's much cooler when you have the knowledge of what's beyond the monster and all the other walls around you. And if you look up past the right field bleachers, you can see the Hancock/Prudential buildings. Have fun!
  10. This should be an easy win, no reason for there not to be. They say it takes 2 days to adjust to the time change, and well, now it's been 2 days. I smell a butt-raping forecast for the Mariners today...
  11. I was asleep for the 2nd inning to the end
  12. OK, so now we have a contest for that autographed piece thingy, ANYONE GOT THE UPDATED INFO?
  13. Hahaha, yeah I remember him. Arrojo, yes.
  14. You change your avatar way too much. Do you have OCD?
  15. Yes, but it's too early to jump on him. Let's remember, he's probably having a tough time getting comfortable in the batter's box, as he's a magnet for bean balls. I wouldn't be too worried, once he gets something to hit, he should be fine. But what WOULD help is if he did swing the bat a tad more.
  16. I also took a few visits to your friendly Mariner board because this board got kinda boring. As you can see, I was the only one on it for a long time . Anyway, some of those guys are funny, especially the opening post about the game when the guy said, "We will get crushed beneath the heels of these Red Sox." (Or something to that effect.) Anyway, I think you post there too because there's this guy named "Element" there, who has almost the same avatar as you, so I'm guessing that it is you. And he's also located in Redmond, WA. Haha, it is you isn't it you sneaky bastard. EDIT: the avatar isn't the same it's just blue like yours... So which board you like better?
  17. It's too late for me to be pulling hair out of my head. I'm goin to sleep. I'll watch the sixth than I'm out. Highlights are fun... Damn west-coast games, I cant get my goddamn daily dose of Red Sox baseball when it's this late. Oh yay, then we get to go Oakland during the weekdays. Well that sucks. Oh great, and Halama gets rocked...again. I want tomorrow to come so we can beat their asses. If we lose, oh well, Baltimore did too so we don't lose ground. The Yanks win oh well they're still pretty far behind. Go Sox...if you have a nice comeback, well I'll see it in the morning.
  18. From who I've seen so far, I would take David Wells out and do something with him. But it probably won't be him. I think we are going to see Wake go back to the pen, unless we have a six-man rotation. 1) Wake could be valuable from there, he can go lots of innings. 2) He's got the knuckleball, and the batters will be way ahead of it coming off of seeing 88-95 mph fastballs. 3) He's been in the pen before, so it's not like he's making a HUGE adjustment. But that's just me, I respect your decision with Miller I just don't agree. Sorry if you sensed hostility or something...
  19. I never thought I'd say it, but this is the time you wish you had David Wells in your rotation Haha, I was having fun
  20. I take that back, goddamn it. Beltre with a shot and a half. 8-6 M's... I have a feeling this game is coming down to the ninth inning.
  21. Thank God, now hopefully Halama will do well again. I gotta tell ya, I think it was a low-rish high-reward move to snag Halama.
  22. Wow Tito Get Gonzalez The f*** Out Of The Game Wow.
  23. I'm trying man, I'm trying to make it. I feel bad for M's fans though, they can't even have time to enjoy the back-to-back HRs by Sexson and Ibanez before Piniero gives the lead back up. Depressing time for them...
