  1. I don't care who we play. If you're going to win the superbowl, you need to be able to beat everyone. Bottom line. If we can't beat Indy or Denver, then we don't deserve the superbowl.
  2. Score 2 for the good guys
  3. Another delay of game against the Jags...Leftwich not doin a very good job... On another note, Pats defense has been awesome except for this drive.. EDIT: This drive is fine. Eugene f***in' Wilson with the big hit to cause the fumble. PATS BALL!
  4. Score 1 point for the good guy
  5. I care. I hate his distractions. He signed an 8 year, 160 million dollar contract. For that amount of money and that big of a decision, be a man, grow a pair, and suck it up and play in Boston. Stop with the "Manny being Manny" s*** and play the damn game. Boston loves him, and the fans love him. Why would he want to leave? If he wants privacy, he should stop opening up his house to the Globe.
  6. Well, at least you got Johnny Damon, right?
  7. Gammons knows nothing. If he said the Red Sox aren't trading Marte that most likely means they're deeply thinking about it. Goddamn it, lol.

  9. Ohh, gotcha. I guess I thought you were arguing something differently. So basically, we were arguing over the same thing...so what were we arguing about? Lol.
  10. Hahaha, damn right bitch.
  11. Texas, meet the USC offense.
  12. Oh yeah, definitely not, just an exchange of opinions in a debate. It's normal to think like this, lol.
  13. No, I said 2006 as in next year's teams because that's who you said would make a run at it. I wasn't talking about this year...the season that was just completed (with exception to the postseason) was 2005. Just clarifying. And yes, I can compare the injuries. And yes, you can't compare the two teams. They are two totally different teams now than they were back in 2002. Like I said, they added so many more players who have made an impact in today than the Jets have. I can compare the injuries because that's what happened this year. No if's and's or but's about it. Are you saying that if you had Chad Pennington the Pats would be scared of you? Of course, if we lost Tom Brady, we're f***ed. BUT, if you had Pennington, that does not make you better than the Pats. Brady > Pennington. That's a disgrace to Brady actually, you can't even put Pennington and Brady in the same sentence, nor comparison. Honestly, I haven't seen much out of Pennington. He's always been hurt after that display of skill he showed a few years back. But by saying that our runningback was "probable" means s***. Even if he doesn't play, you're still proving my point that the Pats are a deeper and more talented team than the Jets. Ever hear the phrase "Defense wins championships?" It's very true. Our secondary has been eaten up ALL YEAR. And what do you mean we weren't phased by it? Give us a healthy team all around and we're just as good as the Colts.
  14. Leanne Rhymes (sp?)
  15. Manny is the best pure hitter in the game, and Clement is definitely an upgrade over almost anyone in their rotation. I don't know what they're smoking to turn this down.
  16. Right. I was thinking too hard on all the players that have vastly improved the Patriots moreso than the Jets have been improved. I guess I thought WAYYYYY too hard.
  17. Also, don't even compare the 2002 Jets and the 2002 Pats to the 2006 versions of each team. The Pats brought in Corey Dillon, Rodney Harrison, drafted Ben Watson, brought in Daniel Graham, and drafted Logan Mankins all in that time frame.
  18. Just like all the Jets fans were talkin s*** after their 5-0 start last year right? When, oh yeah, they were dealt their first loss of the season from who else? The Pats. It's not like the Pats were completely healthy this season either. Rodney Harrison going down wasn't cool and was basically the last thing that we needed as the rest of our secondary went down too...Randall Gay, Tyrone Poole, Asante Samuel, EVEN DUANE STARKS GOT INJURED. Matt Light, quite possibly our best lineman, went down as well. Kevin Faulk...battling injury, Corey Dillon...battling injury. Patrick Pass? Injured. David Givens? Injured. How about arguably our BEST TE as well? Daniel Graham? Injured. Tedy Bruschi? Coming back from a stroke. Seymour? Out for awhile. Gorin? Injured. Willie McGinest? Was injured. You wanna play the injury game? I'll play it. Face it, the Pats are a deeper team, and a better team than the Jets are. Sure, the Jets had their share of injuries, but when using that as an excuse to say that you will come back and scare the Pats is ludicrous. Especially when the Pats, who battled JUST AS MANY, if not MORE, injuries. The Pats don't let injuries stand in their way of winning the division, nor use it as an excuse to go 4-12.
  19. Please, even if they kept him the Jets are lightyears away from scaring me.
  20. True, but they still have their World Series team intact, for the most part... Unless I'm not remembering anything other than Rowand for Thome, their team is still the team to beat next year. They are a very good team who plays a lot of small ball, I don't necessarily understand why they'd have such a need for a power hitting SS like Tejada, as they still have great defense with Uribe. Hm...I'm probably missing something but I don't really see the point of giving up that much. Contreras was money throughout the playoffs and settled down after a few starts this past season.
  21. Who's Will Ohman? I've heard nothing about this guy until the few sentences about him in the article.
  22. I really don't see what planet the Orioles are living on. The White Sox have only gotten better since last season's World Series team, so what makes the O's think the White Sox need Tejada that badly? If the Orioles wanted to get the Tejada deal done, they shoulda sent him to Boston for Manny and Clement. That's the best deal they're going to get anyway.
  23. It will be a great game. I think USC comes out on top just because they've been here quite a few times and because I can't really pick against 2 Heisman winners on the same team. Along with Lendale White in the backfield with Reggie. Sure, Texas has a defense, but toying with defenses is what Reggie does best.
  24. I like the sound of format 2 as well. If it's for prize money or no prize money does not matter to me at all, however, if there IS prize money, I'll be in for that. But yes, format 2 sounds good. Good idea Cape
