    Like I said before...Boras does this "mystery team" with all his clients. There's ALWAYS a mystery team offering a bigger deal. It's for Boras to get better offers and to make people work faster and harder to get his clients. The team isn't real. It's a tool he uses of manipulation.

    TRANSLATION: For a 40 year old, Wells has better stuff than Schilling, therefore making him a "younger" 40 year old. Because Wells does have that good stuff, and because he's a valuable asset to the team (which he incorrectly stated that he had a team leading 15 wins in '05, because Wakefield had 16), he should not be traded away for "too little" in return. We can't get too little in return because we have big question marks in SS and CF, which causes panic. I think the front office is trying to make moves for its own sake to try and numb the sense that they aren't getting anything done. Whatever works... That's what I believe he said. But yes, very confusing post.

    I also remember when you Yankee fans booed Jeter in that 0-30 slump. That was a pretty stupid thing to do. I also remember, even worse than Jeter, you booed RIVERA at the beginning of this season for blowing some saves. Oh yeah, he came back to be the Rivera of normal. YOU NEVER BOO RIVERA. NEVER.

    It's all about the under-appreciated offensive line my friend. That's what it's all about. Brett has some time to throw, but I can say confidently that 95% of those picks have been because that pocket collapses on him. It's not Brett's fault, honestly, this Packers team just doesn't want to win. By the way, I noticed that the Packers have a Driver (Donald), and a Walker (Javon)...I wonder which one's faster?

    Anyway, Toronto is going to have to make a number of moves with their surplus of corner infielders. I can see Glaus starting at 3B, Hillenbrand at 1B after the year he just had, Overbay DH maybe, and then Koskie and Hinske possibly getting moved or maybe they'll willingly take a seat on the bench.

    I'm shocked at that. It's not liek the Bengals had nothing to play for either...it was a first round bye at stake. I really am having a hard time believing that they would just throw that game away, which they clearly didn't, I'm just wondering how they lost to the Bills.

    Definitely. I think Lucchino and Henry were surprised that their 4/40 offer was not enough to keep Damon and that he signed with the Yanks so quickly. They assumed incorrectly that Damon would just play in Boston because it was, well, Boston. They wanted him to take the hometown discount, but he would't, and they fell asleep.

    Yeah, that was pretty much expected though. I don't think we'll see a raping quite as bad as the one the Pats will put on the Jets though

    Wow, good point. For some reason I never thought of that. Marte is also ready for the majors. I'm excited to see what the kid can bring to the table in an atmosphere like Boston.
