    The BC Eagles and the Wisconsin Badgers will battle it out tonight on ESPN at 7pm EST for the college hockey championship. Anyone going to watch? My cousins, Matt and Justin Greene, both play for BC so I will be switching back and forth between the Sox and Eagles most likely. Any fans?

    No one does, it's more of a "streaks are fun to watch" thing than people actually caring. If anyone, YS013 seems to care the most but whatev.

    Dude, I might be a believer. I had a really good record last year if I remember correctly. And also, hahaaha out of all the Yankee game threads THIS year, I started one and that's the only game the Yanks won Yeah he also made a RIDICULOUS amount of them last year. go to like page 2 and 3 of the game thread forum.

    I know, I was just saying there wasn't really an official announcement for a winner. I don't know why, but it bugged me. Sorta like the stray marks teachers leave on chalkboards or whiteboards when they don't fully erase the board. That makes me mad.

Kevin Millar will obviously be interesting to watch, as thus far he has done pretty well. Hopefully Clement can continue his great success against the Orioles and bring us our 3rd win. Go Sox!

    So keeping a streak alive after a 5 month off-season is unfair? Dimaggio was at laest playing in games in the same season. Rollins had a huge gap and had to try to keep his streak up after not hitting at all for 5 months. That's harder IMO.

    If Martin Gramatica can be the Martin Gramatica of old, then that's not a "wash" signing. That guy can boot the ball if need be. Tebucky Jones, yeah whatever. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a big deal trying to be worked out with Dillon or whatnot. We shall see. Even though these signings aren't great, we have seen time and time again turn mediocre players into great ones. I'm excited to see what will happen.

    The only problem with this, is that any normal human being isn't going to think about saying a harmless comment and worry about how it might be interpreted. Too many people are insensitive. Bottom line. And no where in the article is it made out to suggest that Clemens' statement was racist. If you read the article, they don't say anything about him being intolerant.....

    I would like to trade Foulke to a buyer for some other solid bullpen relief in return. Keep Papelbon as the closer until Hansen is ready, then work Papelbon into the rotation. If no one is willing to give us anything in return for Foulke (unlikely, considering many teams could use a closer like Foulke if he returns to form...I bet the Braves had enough of Danny Kolb last season And who knows if Reitsma will actually be a solid closer? Atlanta might be willing to take him in considering the work they could try to do with him. Atlanta is obviously known for good pitching), THEN see if he can return to form. I'm sure his confidence last night was shaken, and it definitely didn't help to watch a young gun go in and do your job for you when you're a veteran.
