  8. If it was Buffalo I would care. Or Anaheim, because the Mighty Ducks are a sick name. But these two teams? No. But I guess it's weird when you're a fan of Boston sports teams when your teams aren't in the championship games. You just don't care unless you have some connection to another team, like an ex-Boston player or something. And it's just like the Superbowl this year. NO ONE cared. It was terrible. If the Pats were in, I'm sure people would be glued to the television to see if 3 in a row was actually going to happen. But there's just like nothing to get exciting about in this Stanley Cup Finals, and same for this past superbowl.

  11. I hope it doesn't ruin the kid, but after watching his potential last night I could start to enjoy watching Pauley out there every 5 days. Much better than DiNardo. Despite giving up 6 runs, it was his first MLB start and he did look pretty good. I hope it's not the end of him just yet. Then again, I don't want him to be ruined if that's what's going to happen.
  12. See Shaq in the post game? "That was a foul young lady and you all know it." Or something to that extent It probably was, but regardless, Big Ben pushed his s*** in.
  13. I never really had a second favorite team, it was the Astros by my random choosing but I never really got around to following them. Ever since Pedro went to the Mets I've been a Mets fan as well.
  14. The outfield SHOULD be Manny, Vernon Wells, and Alex Rios.
  15. You mean Friday
  16. It really is a joke. Alex Rios, Vernon Wells, and Manny should be the top 3 outfielders right now. I guess it's not the fans' fault though when Rios is forced to be a write-in. He definitely deserves a spot though. I guess from that list, it should be Manny, Vernon Wells, and Vlad or Jonny Gomes. I actually don't know how Vlad's doing this year, haven't really been keeping track. But I'm assuming he's done well enough to deserve a starting spot in the All Star Game. Pierzynski is FIFTH? That's a joke. He should be the leading vote receiver for catchers. I don't have a problem with 1B, 2B, SS (except for A-Gone being 4th in the voting), and some of the OF. The C is a joke, the 3B should be Lowell (right now at least), and the OF should have Rios and Wells with Manny at the top. All I can say is thank God that the fans don't choose the pitching either. They'd probably vote Mo in over Papelbon at this point. Granted, Mo is unbelievable, this season Papelbon deserves it. Case closed.
  17. And again, if YOU lose some of those games to Baltimore, you're right down there too. The Baltimore argument is stupid, we're both beating them.
  18. A-Rod leading third basemen AT THE MOMENT, is ridiculous. Then again, he's A-Rod. Did it say anywhere in there where Lowell stands?
  19. You guys are like the Baltimore Orioles to us in recent years. Don't get ahead of yourselves TOO fast.
  20. I can't believe Tek is leading the catcher voting. My vote would go to Pierzynski, as much as I hate the guy.
  21. Well, if he shuts them out it could be Kyle Davies part 2. Granted, Davies isn't TERRIBLE, but he thrived against Boston that game because there was nothing to watch on him. If he does amazingly tonight don't get too excited, hitters haven't even caught a glimpse of him yet.
  22. Again, thank you. Serving means jack in this argument. I don't agree with what he said, but let it go...
  23. Ayo.
  24. Haha I know. I'm pumped for this game. Tonight would be a good game to take. Push the Jays back down to where they belong and let the Yankees lose tonight with Small on the mound. It looks like the Yanks will lose so we need to put the Jays down too and distance ourselves. Beckett's been really dominant. Gametime in 5 minutes guys and gals!
