  1. Woohoo, this is like the first time I've ever been right in anything in my life. Prediction-wise.
  2. I feel bad for the Wilmington guys. Now they know they're gunna lose every 5th day...
  3. Can't Cora pitch as well? And can the manager choose to use his pitcher as the DH in an AL game?
  4. What are you talking about? They're not HRD type hitters? They all can hit homeruns. I also don't understand how you say weak competition this year, but whatever. To each his own. Howard wins.
  5. What was mind boggling was how we struggled with their pitching during our last series against them. I expected to lose against Kazmir, but the other 3? We even struggled against Corcoran...
  6. MVP-- Ortiz Comeback Pitcher-- Schilling Comeback Position Player-- Lowell/Nixon Cy Young-- Papelbon Best Glove -- Gonzo Best Catch-- Crisp vs. Mets (Like ORS said, Stern's deserves mention too) Biggest Disappointment of a Pitcher -- Beckett Biggest Disappointment of a Position Player -- Varitek
  7. It's just that it's amazing what could have been said. Zidane never loses his cool, and it really makes you wonder what Materazzi could have said. It was obviously painfully offensive. What if he made threats to him or his family, said something regarding his family, etc etc... That's going too far. If something like that was said, I applaud Zidane for not killing him.
  8. I noticed all year that the Rays' offense was a force. Their downfall is their huge lack of starting pitching (exception to Kazmir of course), and their abomination of a bullpen. They can really hit the ball, but that's about it.
  9. Did Zidane play with a dislocated shoulder? I was switching between the Sox and the soccer game, and I heard he did something to his shoulder.
  10. No it isn't, you have to look at their hips. The Portugese goal keeper was a tank against England.
  11. Neither did Buffon....neither one of those goalies did anything.
  12. You'll take Papi because of his track record. Zimmerman has no previous track record. He's a rookie. If you look at just this year, their clutch numbers look the same. Meaning they've had an equal amount of "clutch success" this season. You just want Papi because he's done all these great things in the past, and because he's on the Red Sox. Open up.
  13. Yeah, I just did see that. Annoying as all hell. Seems irrational as well.
  14. Haven't seen this posted yet, so I guess I will: Shanahan Agrees To Deal With Rangers http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=2514278
  15. Italia!
  16. Seems like you'll never know.
  17. Jesus Christ, you tell me who would be a better representative from KC than Mark Redman. He had a 5 win month of June (5-0) with a low-mid 3's ERA. Please, tell me who from KC would be better. They'd never put Gobble in. They don't use non-closing relievers.
  18. Good. Lester should have an easier time.
  19. I have Cook on more than 1 fantasy team.
  20. I actually am too. I'm not into tennis at all either, but I'd like to watch it. What channel/time/day?
  21. Kenny Rogers isn't even the best pitcher on his team. Verlander and Robertson over Rogers.
