  1. Hey CD: Aren't winning streaks fun?
  2. Thanks for your input.
  3. Orsillo's paper airplane made my day. It was the ugliest plane I've ever seen and it just kind of flopped into the empty seat below. The fans that were sitting behind it were cracking up, lol. That was awesome.
  4. LOWELL!!! Guy's as hot as it gets right now.
  5. Kid's playing absolutely tremendous baseball thus far. 'Atta boy Manny!
  6. Always has that shaky first and settles down. Nothing new. Let's get those bats goin.
  7. Thumper...basically this is the same as me saying that I don't know whether or not I took steroids. I mean, a protein shake that I drank for football could have had some "performance-enhancing drug" in it as well. This isn't even a story.
  8. I need pitching. Anyone's available. Just remember that in fantasy, hitting's more valuable.
  9. Agreed. If I was paid to play major league baseball for the New York Yankees...the fandom goes out the window. I hate them as a fan but if I got a chance to make big bucks playing (IMO) one of the most fun sports to play in New York, you bet your ass I'd be playing my ass off there. ANiMAL -- you can't let your heart get in your head's way.
  10. Um, you're talking about Dontrelle f***ing Willis. Unless you're willing to trade Buccholz, Ellsbury, and Bowden (and maybe more), don't bother asking.
  11. Pavano's annoyed at the Yanks for wanting him to see a fourth doctor about his injury? If I were the Yankees, I would give a nice "f*** you" to Pavano for bitching and remind him that he hasn't met anywhere close to expectations. After all he's put the Yankees through, he has the audacity to start complaining himself? f*** him. Link.
  12. I love your metaphors.
  13. Haha, okay. We'll see. I know you're a much better team than a .500 team. And it's highly unlikely that the Sox are a .667 team (unless they're that team that seldom goes 108-54)... I do think, however, that we are evenly matched. It'll go down to the wire this year. But, I think the Sox are a lot better than you think they are. We're already 10 games over .500 and I really don't think we're going to play .500 baseball from here on out and finish in 3rd place (which is what would need to happen for your prediction to hold steady). Do you really believe that'll happen?
  14. Psssst...it was a little premature to say something like "it's not okay when you're under .500" considering the Yankees are always under .500 at this point of the season. I have a feeling that them spending money will be "okay" in your book when all is said and done this year.
  15. Um, Schilling. Because the last time the Red Sox faced Clemens in the ALCS, he walked off the mound down 4 runs. Now, we all know how it turned out, but we also know how it turned out with Schilling pitching for us.
