I didn't even think Lucic was that big of a factor last night as he was in Game 1 aside from the last 5 minutes. He impressed me more with his stick handling then with his hitting. He probably deserved his suspension, wouldn't have been suspended in the regular season but in the postseason he'll get suspended every time. The important thing is that Lucic can't change the way he plays. He's gotta be careful after the whistle, but as far as game play goes he has to be the same effective player as he's been for most of this season. We've beaten the Habs without Lucic this year, I'm hopeful we'll be able to do it again.

The whole Canada sucks thing is ********. Last time I checked Lucic is Canadian and Komisarek is American... I love Canada as a country, I wish America had the same passion that they have for hockey. They have great national pride, and I think their anthem is better... Now the CanadiEns, that's a different story.

Was very nervous throughout the 2nd and when they were dominated in the 3rd. Fortunately they took control of the final 10 minutes. Lucic was the best player on the ice tonight. Set the tone early. Made a great play to set up the 2nd goal. I'd like to see him get some power play time, as a big body in front of the net. Komisarek's a bitch everyone knows that. Won't go after Lucic or Chara, but he'll be glad to go after Krejci or Hunwick. I dont know if he should be suspended or not for the eye gouge or not. He probably will, but I kind of feel that one should be suspended for legit career threatening hits, or hits to the head. I'll have to watch the Dafoomie videos when he puts it up. Lapierre going after Kessel after he scored is just typical Canadiens hockey... They're going to need a full 60 minute effort on Saturday though. This won't cut it.

:lol::lol: Not with the way ESPN talks about it for like 10 minutes on EVERY SportsCenter for the last 2.5 months. God forbid they talk about sports that they don't broadcast on their network, that are actually in season...

what a game. I don't even know where to start. I dont blame Lucic for going after Komisarek. If it was a game that meant something, different story. But if theyre gonna keep hitting us from behind, they have to pay for it somehow. It's looking like it might be another Bruins-Canadiens series, which would be good for hockey, bad for my heart rate... But there's gonna be a target on Lucic's back if there is a series, and he needs to keep his cool.

I just want to get hockey back on the map in Boston. People will still doubt the Bruins until they approach the success of the other franchises in Boston, and that would entail of at least getting to the conference finals. Otherwise people will continue the knock them (and rightfully so) for not having playoff success. I remember the atmosphere in the City in the days between Game 6 and 7. That was only two days, i want that to go on for a couple months.

I've never been a fan of Dice-K, even with the stats he put up last year. He's just too agonizing to watch. The HR's are obviously a concern. Wait til he starts giving them up when he puts more people on base (which he always does). I think he'll do better against weaker lineups, but we expected to get a pitcher who could dominate.

Tough loss. We didn't deserve to win with the way Dice-K s*** the bed today. Shows what defense can do with Longoria and Crawford making a couple nice plays.

How far do you guys think they're going this year? I'm extremely nervous about playing either the Rags (Lundqvist can win a series by himself) or even the Habs (just because they're the Habs, and if we lose to them THIS year it would be the worst loss of them all.) I want to avoid the Penguins in the 2nd round, even if we handled them pretty well this year. Flyers, Canes and Devils are teams I think we can handle. Bruins-Caps east final would be epic, and Bruins-Sharks would be epicer (yes i'm making up words.) Now I'm really getting ahead of myself. That being said, I've been looking forward to the playoffs next week for a loooooooooong time.

Yes there's more than 1 person that attends the school. As far as people from the board. NOt that I'm aware of. Maybe in the last couple of years though f***.

Quinnipiac, down in Connecticut. I got the privilege of being able to watch 3 baseball games on tv this afternoon. (plus another one being played right outside my window) I guess that's the advantage of going to school in the middle of Sox/Yanks Territory. Perhaps my return is giving us some luck? Jed's got a big chance to redeem himself for last night.
