    Well if someone has a beef about one of the trades they can veto it. Once it's vetoed on Yahoo we could have a discussion on the site and we can decide whether the trade is fair or not. But if no one complains than the trade goes through.

    Just wondering who is in the group registered with the name "Longo Time". I think it might be MGB but I'm not sure just tell me who it is so we'll know who to give the money to if they win.

    Other thoughts from just looking at the bracket and not looking at the other comments. Gonzaga a 3 while Tennessee and UCLA are 2's that surprised me a bit. BC should be a 3 over UNC seeing as they beat them twice and finished only 1 game back of UNC. UAB-Kentucky a rematch of a couple years ago or maybe it was last year when UAB upset Kentucky (I remember it because I picked it). Syracuse and Washington as 5's are jokes in my mind. Cuse should be lower, UDub higher. But in my mind the biggest shame is GW as an 8. The A-10 is an average conference of course, but when you finish with only 2 losses I think you deserve better than an 8 but I guess the 207 SOS really did them in. No way they should be facing Duke in the 2nd round though and I bet the Dukies aren't really thrilled about their 2nd round matchup either.

    Sox lose 6-3 and Minnesota wins the Mayor's cup. Remy was at his best again today mocking the whole idea of the Mayor's Cup for pretty much the last 2 innings. Damn I miss real baseball.

    No there really isn't a way to get rid of it. When a new member joins you really don't know what kind of poster they are going to be until they actually post. Besides I don't think it really is that much of a "problem". The spam is posted, us mods edit out the spam, everyone on the board ridicules the poster and spam, spammer leaves boards after post, and after being annoying for a maximum of 5 minutes everyone forgets about it. It's usually 1 or so per day, and on a popular board such as this one that is not bad at all. So basically what I say is to just ignore it and let us take care of it, no need to make a big fuss over a small little thing.

    Manny Goes Boom and MANNYHOF24 you guys had a week to join and register, but failed to do so, so I'm sorry to say you guys aren't eligible to be in the group anymore. To everyone else this is a reminder that you guys can fill out your brackets starting Sunday night at about 7 PM until Thursday at 11:55 AM. If you fail to do so well then obviously you'll lose. Tuesday night is when I'll start hounding all of you who haven't filled out your brackets yet.

    Wow you're a real fan there. If I had season tickets to the Bruins I'd still go to every game I could no matter if they're good or bad I'll always support them. The last thing this team needs is fans like you.

    Amazing to me I agree here. This winter I've really been shifting towards College Hoops and this year is the most I've followed it as a sport. Part of disinterest in hockey of course has to do with the year the Bruins are having, of course I'll still watch them if they're on but if there's a good finish like I anticipate all day today I'll watch that every time.

    I'm extending the deadline to tomorrow night at 10 because I was busy this afternoon and I don't feel I gave a good amount of time for RedRuffing and Sizzlin to sign up on Yahoo. Manny Goes Boom. BrentD and MANNYHOF you guys also need to register on Yahoo.

    Exactly. That is unfortunately the most we could have gotten out of Samsonov or we would have gotten as much as we got from Rolston, Knuble, Nylander etc. which is nothing.

    From what I've heard this isn't the case. I've heard quotes from Timlin, Chipper and Peavy saying that this is the best baseball of their lives and for Timlin and Chipper they said it tops the world series. I think it was just a bad roster assembled by whoever picked it.

    Alright these trades have all gone down this afternoon. Most are just players going for cash or draft picks. Todd Simpson from Chicago to Montreal Brad Lukowich from Islanders to New Jersey Sean Brown from New Jersey to Vancouver Denis Gauthier from Phoenix to Philly Sean O'Donnell from Phoenix to Anaheim Mika Noronen from Buffalo to Vancouver Jeff Friesen from Washington to Anaheim Keith Carney from Anaheim to Vancouver Also Mark Recchi has waived his no trade clause to go to Carolina. Don't know who's going in return in that one.

    Curtis Joseph apparently going to Vancouver as well. I hope these are all true and I'm not just throwing ******** at everyone. For you Sabres fans (or just 1) I heard a rumor which says Noronen, Campbell and Pyatt to Phoenix for Comrie and Morris. That one Is just a rumor though.
